I wouldn't touch Kier with a bargepole...very competitive industry ..extremely low margins on turnover of £4 billion plus.....Kier have lost £200 million in last five years....government contracts not as lucrative as people think...Will only take one of these contracts to go wrong as I predict it will and think Carillion.....one on my list to AVOID..

Mrd...I agree with you totally about MW report which is very flaky ..with no researched conclusions , only accusations....when he uses words like 'king zero' in his reports I just think he should be wearing a base-ball cap back to front , rather than a suit .

Castaway ..as my name suggests, the market in my opinion is the exact opposite of Adz's view...I think that the market is "always wrong" because nobody knows what the correct fundamental price is at any one time...It is guided by human emotions, over reacting to both good and bad news , as at present ... I think it is only right when crossing paths...

Hi Props ...I asked people to nominate their favourite share that they have been following , apart from NMC and give it to me .. I will add it to the list of other people's favourite shares and your share will be entered alongside their's at the price prevailing at the time you nominate your share..
The aim is to see whose share has risen the most by the end of March but also to share your favourite share with everyone on the board and see also what their favourite shares are. .
Somebody else has chosen Kefi so you can't have that one but you can choose BIRD if you like or else choose another one . I post an up to date league table on a weekly basis so that you can see how your share has performed alongside everyone else's .

I hadn't heard of NCYT until Mornington mentioned it, but hindsight is a great thing .. of the 20 selections ten had positive increases and 10 had negative price increases...NCYT shot up so much today on the back of positive testing results to combat the Coronavirus..
Would love to hear what you favourite alternative share is and I will enter it for you.
Incidentally , he then opened another position with Kat which is now 2O % down..that might be a good one to enter at this point...I aim to look at that tomorrow
