..I made the suggestion that it would be in the interests of some to reduce the sp of this company.
It was about the time Jack Boyer came on board and I remembered the takeover of Stadium by TT Electronics. Some time before it happened SDMs sp crashed somewhat after they issued a kind of warning about supply issues - ISTR capacitors were mentioned.
Some time after the fall, it was announced that a deal had been struck and shareholders would be given a premium for their shares more or less making up for the drop. In other words TTG paid for SDM roughly the price before the announcement, avoiding an inflated valuation, shall we say.
Mr Boyer is still a non-exec of TTG as he is of SEE. On its own SEE is has very limited potential in my view and if the sp is a guide, I am not alone. As part of TTG (in which I have a much larger stake than in SEE) it might do very considerably better. One thing is for sure, Jack Boyer is a very smart operator who I cannot see staying with a sinking ship.
