So if you took an old digital camera and took a pic of a laser device would that tell you anything? e.g. laser measuring tool?

I'd have thought these are stronger than AV LIDARs. Also would be interested to know why RADAR can't do the same job.

Nephophobia is a fear of the cloud or clouds. My understanding is that Sage's model was failing because they were reluctant to go down the SAAS route using the cloud. Thanks to giving Steve Hare the reins they have changed tack and embraced SAAS and the cloud. It seems to be working.

My guess is that they prefer to take the hit now because they know the consequences. It contrasts with the Tesco scandal where executives were accused of trying to bring profits forward in order to cover up a disappointing performance.

Seems to me that the risk in this share is all about what happens in China.

Dividend cover is weak in my opinion given Trump's antics but his approach to China could change in an instant.

OK, so they buy back every day. If they had a crystal ball they could get it right. But they don't, so sometimes it's right others not so much.

It's probably more like an old galley. The slaves are all busy toiling away at the oars, the overseer is keeping them at it, the guy bashes the drum is bashing the drum and the guy at the tiller is keeping it off the rocks.

Switched a chunk of AV over to LGEN last week when the price was right. I will ride both horses from now. It's better than realising my losses.

Any new investment will go elsewhere as I have enough in this sector.

I don't see this as a sinking ship - just battered by the slings and arrows of the outrageous fortune that gave the the current inhabitant of the White House. His successor will probably want it fumigated, not least to get rid of the bugs in the walls. On 2nd thoughts don't mention the wall.
