Bushmaster - it is patently obvious that you are simply looking for a way to try and divide investors from their shares so that you can get a cheaper buy back price.

If you had bothered to actually read and comprehend what I wrote you will see that I said "if you cannot stomach the price hitting 16p then you should sell at 20p." Note that I did not state that I thought it would go to 16p. In fact I pointed out that if people DID sell at 20p then it was in fact LESS likely that the price would go lower because quite clearly the market makers have a short position they need to close and if they cannot close it at 20p then they will simply drive the price lower until they force sells from those who have bought on tick from the spreadbet shops. Do you understand now that I have done capitals for you ?

Furthermore I have never given any justification for the SP falling apart from pointing out to everyone the games that the Market Makers play so that they are not hoodwinked by people like you.

Nothwithstanding that would be really nice if you could actually read and understand what I wrote, and in future you will find it would be even better if you actually had the balls to name me when trying to put words in my mouth using innuendo and snide suggestion.

Taufour - the signficant number of small trades are thought to originate from the freetrade platform. This is where traders are incentivised to gamble the small amount of cash that they may have by being offered zero transaction costs. Of course just like the 'zero-commission' currency exchanges that used to live in airport departure lounges they make their money on offering a terrible spread. There is nothing frictionless or high-frequency trading about it.

miner70er - no I don't think PNPL are targeting Bushveld Energy - it is much too complex a business model for them, or investors to get their heads around at present.

Interesting that it was not Andrew Monk from VSA capital who said any of that stuff, but rather the interviewer, sounding all clued up like. I wonder where he got the information from.

The question of course as to whether a spun out Bushveld Energy makes any sense is of course the 64 million dollar one. There are some who might say it would be hard for it to be any less discernible than at present, certainly if the stock valuation is anything to go on. There are also others who would question the believability of a vertically integrated mines-to-batteries proposition when multiple companies are involved and it is not clear what the transfer price of stuff from company A to company B should or might be.

Personally I think that Fortune is too smart to let everyone in the City of London and their buddies know what is going on.

Investor81 - it is precisely because so many on here DO get it that the Market Makers cannot close out their short sells up to 24p. At some point they need to face reality and move the price back up above 24p and try and sell a few more up there in order to get their average up.

SG - nice to see that at long last we are getting some proper coverage across the industry. Nice also that they appreciate that Bushveld should be at the top not buried somewhere in the middle.

Interesting also that Vanadiumcorp announced a Marine tie-in with Conoship - this perhaps explains some of the comments made by Portliner's Ton van meegen at the IFBF. Either way it suggests that VRFB's for marine use really are a thing, which has come as something of a very welcome surprise.

JD1972 - the first part of what you say is correct - the second part is I think not. The Market Makers are not moving the price down because people are selling. They are moving it down precisely because people are not selling. They sold short in the rise up to 20p and now they need those shares. They couldn't get them at 20p or 19p and so now they are moving the price down to try and force leveraged buys on spreadbet platforms to be forced to sell out to them. They assume that they can do this before any major news arrives that may force them back to increasing the SP.
