that particular site is quite interesting - it is in an old factory unit and because it is inside an existing industrial building you can install up to 50MW battery with virtually no planning assessment done. The key is pretending that the battery is to be used as part of the existing industrial plant just like a water pump or a sellotape dispenser.

The safety assessment of the application that was made of that would have been funny if it had not been so dangerous - they basically just linked to an HSE document about "using large batteries" - first point - wear gloves and safety goggles.

Absolutely laughable - the large scale battery safety regulations will ultimately be written in blood.

thanks for clarifying what you meant faramog - what BMN did was to sell the shares they don't need to get what they want, at a huge profit, to invest in other parts of their VRFB ecosystem. BMN have never been about owning it all, but instead are all about bringing in new people and new money to the VRFB ecosystem. This has been done very effectively with the Invinity IPO and Invinity are now doing very well as a result of that. Now BMN are going to be catalytic elsewhere.

Just like our beautiful metal Bushveld can exist in a number of closely correlated states and can provide catalytic activity not possible with anything else.

Bushman - of course the Uis mine has already been the world's largest hard rock tin mine. I expect that it will become the same again. But not just a Tin mine, as Anthony pointed out on numerous occasions in the presentation last night ATM's lithium resource also puts it in the top 10 of hard rock lithium resources in the world also. Unlike almost all of those the Uis Tin can pay for most of the production costs, making Uis Lithium perhaps the cheapest Lithium in the world.

I wonder if a company called Uis Lithium would be as poorly valued as ATM currently is getting. I doubt it. Maybe we will see such a spin-off company one day.

lilone - the market makers have sold short into buying pressure assuming that they can get shares out of weak hands on the way back down. Unfortunately they have not bargained for the strong buying pressure from LTHs and those that get the fundamentals - so they have a problem - do they simply drive it lower to try and trigger sells from those who bought on tick or do they allow the price to rise so that they can get a marginally higher average short sell price . They fluctuate between these modes.
