Coffecups - all of our ores are magnetite (Fe3O4) containing V2O5 - You can't simply mine it and melt it to make rebar - the Vanadium slag needs to be tapped of, various other processes applied to molten steel to purify it - the vanadium rich slag is purified separately and then FeV or VCN is added back to the molten steel in controlled amounts.

It is coffecups perhaps when the Iron ore price goes above 100 USD/tonne. Since the vale dam disaster on the 25th Jan the price has risen from USD 75 to USD 92

Buzzipster - certainly Lyndon 'Taff' Williams came from Highveld - he told me so personally whilst I was chatting to him outside the Vametco main plant offices. He came to Vametco when Evraz first bought it in 2007. A quick google and you discover that Malcolm Curror came from Glencore in 2011 - so it doesn't look like Curror could be the Highveld Steel connection. However we do know that Highveld used to produce around 12,000 tonnes of vanadium out of steel slag each year - is it just conceivable that Mokopane ore could be shipped to highveld for processing into unrefined steel and Vanadium.

Drogenbos - for those that were not aware Lithium-ion batteries are very dangerous when short circuited or the internal structure is damaged. It does not take too much heat to produce a runaway thermal reaction, which is why when large Lithium-ion batteries catch fire you want to run away very quickly in the opposite direction.

Vanadium Flow Batteries cannot burn. In fact the electrolyte will not just not support fire it will put it out.

unfortunately mask you are completely wrong - as even probably the most novice investor can work out that any LTH sells are counted as such in the trade analysis. That and the other simple fact that since the start of December 2018 there have been regularly more Buys than Sells is plain to see.

You obviously know nothing about the 'underlying science of market mechanics' in illiquid markets where market makers are permitted to accumulate short positions whilst working a sell as an essential part of their role in 'making a market'.
