If you look at the 5 years chart surely seems overdone, the thing is that all the sector has been beaten down, so really can we look at a single company and say this is really too much when the underliyng cause is basically a macro........?

It is hard times nowadays the green sector was supposed to be a low income safe bet, regulated long term contracts clear investment paths............. a lot of people retired have funds into this,,,, so the question is what is safe nowadays?? keeping money under the pillow....

Thanks kaf444 now it is clearer. certainly changing cards on the table for running busnesses sounds almost like a communits practice...... i m not impressed if business was mine i would be furious..........i read an article today that says that the UK is the state in Europe with the highest step up rate for gdp and debt.... I think that government margins to implement and support people in day to day living poverty is down to almost zero, honestly the government should also understand that people that invest will always search for a better more prifitable way and milking the private businesses cow will lead to loss of competitivity surely not from the speaches of Tatcher in the old times where she always praised open market and freedom in the private sector........ i might be wrong.. one thing that makes me curious is that France is better shape than the UK but alarms ring only for France? i wonder if people are aware of the UK economics as a whole.......

I think the minor movements are due to the divi............i m quite optimist that we will not get knocked down by some lousy sell contract,,, guys did a good job with nimrod 2 and shortage of airplane is still playing a role nowadays....

The GOR (Gas Oil Ratio) is unique to each well, they are linked toghether, but in the Shale drilling production the GOR has very high values above 1000(sometimes they reach 2500) that means that every 1000 m3 of gas you produce, you obtain one m3 of oil in this cases the oil is considered a byproduct of gas as the main aim is gas production to be sent to liquefation at LNG plants, please forgive if i was not clear regards

What i wanted to say is that as an operator of shale well you cant drill a well put it on production then decide to produce less and shut it in or decrease flow volumes, once you drill you need to produce to the maximum possible to repay your costs at the quickest, in the other hank if you do not drill because your costs are too high as the oil price is too low yur company has high risk of bankrupcy especialy if you just bought new leases like in this case.. myopinion is that the oil and gas business within the shale should be left out of the dogfight repubblicans are pro drilling -..just an opinion

That s not correct, i m in the business and within shale production the oil price is very important as the well life is much shorter than a conventional well, the gas and oil ratio is not predictable but obviously gas is cheaper than Oil in market and the two prices are saparate, less oil means lower profitability, the key factors for shale development are an accurate well planning to save material costs and timing of operations that lead to time saving during interventions and down to the bone fracking contracts.........

ALL MARKETS ARE FALLING YESTERDAY AND TODAY PAYING TOO MUCH ATTENTION TO THE SP NOW IS ON MY OPINION MISLEADING AS IT IS PART OF MACRO..........NOT BEING OPTIMIST BEING REALISTIC.

Certainly canmax are fedup with Roach it looks his project management was poor...... he s been there to support but unable to get results, yes a new arangement should be implemented asap , lets also remember that cold stacking a plant has relevant re starting costs.......that will be an additional burden
