Nike is pretty stable in the pre-market hours. I wonder why Adidas was target specifically with this downgrade. Adidas has performed strongly compared to Nike.

Packed out but were they discounting? Lots of stock from the limpy Chinese market may be discounted in the EU and US market, margins could be under pressure. Lots of trainers that can be found on heavily discounting online retailers.

The drop is too pronounced to be just due to a broker forecast. Unless BofA is a highly reliable one!

What does BofA knows that we don't? maybe they have some insight on Nike and used it to make a target price for JD Sports?

If that's UK data the share price will greatly benefit from an uplift in UK sales, since that has been a pain point for JD.

Nike's sales seem to be regaining traction in the US.

If all of that is reflected in JD's revenue we will have extraordinary months leading to the world cup.

I am surprised big investors are not seeing the potential here yet.

If that is the case and if JD captured that increase in revenue in proportion, we should see revenue up by close to 2% (I am assuming data is from the US market alone).

Has anyone investigated why Nike's sales fell so much in China? What's going on?

Deutsche raised the target price to 520. An upside of about 30% from today's valuation

I don't expect fireworks either but I would have expected more advertising from Debenhams. The reputational damage they are taking over missing parcels and appalling customer service will stick with Debs for long. The value that Debenham carries is all about reputation and it is being trashed. That being said, I struggle to value the Debs brand but the stock overall seems well undervalued.

Did Frasers share price soars by over eight percent today?

6mln shares sold won't move the share price, just like £200 millions of buyback didn't move the needle.

6mln shares are peanuts. We are talking about a 4000 milionns in market cap.

I want to see margins improving, carving out higher margins (which by the way are going the other way around).

The TU in January will shed more light on direction and hope for the best for the world cup. This stock is painful to watch.

Next demands higher multiples TBF. Their offering is much more differentiated and they typical client will be hooked up for life.

JD customers will at some point transition to Next once out of puberty or out of the chav subculture.

JD is however undervalued.

I had a check on Trustpilot. Debenham rating is quite poor, most negative review are due to missing shipment or large delays, lack of customer support.

Reputation takes time to build, easy to lose and almost impossible to get back.

Fraser's sales is small to be significant, for now. It is just a bully tactics to cap the share price rise and hamper the ability to issue share capital if needed, prevent a share price rise to trigger bonus awards etc. If Frasers dumped completely, Debs would be liberated from inside sabotaging.

Just an observation. I am still long on JD (sadly!). I do really hope to see a turnaround!

Who is losing traction? Shein? When you say "UK retail stocks" what stocks are you referring specifically, apart from DEBS? I am thinking to stores like JD Sports, do you have any specifically in mind?

On a different topic, IG often shows DEBS as "unavailable to trade" is it because IG has not access to enough stock to place orders?
