The gap in the chart from 2 years ago is almost filled. What to expect next? HFG is in a better shape than 2 years ago, although rates are now higher than 2 years ago. Will the share price push to £12 in 2024?
Incredible reduction of debt while increasing dividends.
I wished for a greater volume increase but I can't complain.
Hopefully it will keep steadily rising after tomorrow
FY results day tomorrow
MAybe the best companies go unnoticed?
Nice rise in the past few weeks, bodes well for the results announcement in Jan
Anyone knows the details of the Walmart deal, what are the expected volumes and turnover?
Walmart Canada must be a lot smaller than Tesco, so the new deal may not % increase revenue that significantly.
Also, what happened with Singapore?
Well that's an interesting development, will take time, but another revenue stream
Despite the recent data on inflation easing, HFG did not experience any positive impact. I had expected HFG, which was severely affected by inflation, to witness an increase in its share price.
The update is scheduled for Wednesday, April 5th.
The balloon's descent was observed as it was trimmed at 617p+ yesterday and 635p+ today. In hindsight, it would have been better to exit completely. However, the average price at 344p provides ample opportunity to rebuy, rinse, and repeat.
The update is scheduled for Wednesday, April 5th.
Today, on April 5th, there is an important update.
HFG did not benefit from the recent data on the easing inflation. I thought HFG, hardly hit by inflation, would have seen its share price rising.
I would love to see this go back up to the 12/14 quid a share, but just cant see it for a few years
With interest rates on the rise and rising inflation, I expect the share price to be sluggish for the coming 2-3 years.
Ex Div day !!
It is good too see some directors' buys
I am happy he is going. Totally focussed on sales, which is why he is going. New CEO more focussed on profitability and costs (based on time with Tesco and Co-op). Admin costs have mushroomed (by over £50 million), suggesting no focus on integration cost savings. Hopefully there have been reductions in some costs (shipping), but all protein costs have risen except for vegetable, so focus has to be on reducing admin costs. Lower processing costs from new equipment should also help. Would have been good to hear more information on first quarter, but I assume from dividend being held that there is some progress, but resignation suggests not enough.
Leemuu, what do you think of the new CFO?
not happy Phil is stepping down
On the 5th of April (today)
I was expecting a big drop today.
The positive note is that the divided was preserved.

Easing inflation may help this underdog
