Gild is 1 esports team out of thousands. In the usa alone there are 621 esports teams according to esportsflag.com

There is absolutely nothing special about these guys no usp nothing. You would be better with an esports or gaming etf as the sector as a whole will do amazingly well over next few years but to throw your money behind 1 individual team is risky and foolish and seems now people are understanding that by the share price action.

How much of that 30m is dropping down to the bottom line? Let say 15m per year on a very generous 33% margin that is only 5m and not enough to turn these profitable.

I just think ceo selling shares and not takinf part in subsequent placings is a red flag so too is the CFO quitting. Could be nothing in it but its a red flag.

I think a placing will come because of the way the SP is behaving and because I'm far from convinced these will have enough cash to see them through to profitability. I dont think the margins are going to be anything like what people are hoping for i have heard whispers that much of the 30mil revenue is pass through thats the truth. So if i was ceo and knew would need to raise 6-12 months down the road, i would do it now whilst not desperate then can at least raise at a decent price. Longer time ticks and margins become obvious and or lack of news the lower the share price will be and the more shareholder dilution will happen hence its good to raise now

Yawn read the full thread i was short bids last year actually. Closed it thankfully before the rally and actually brought the rally just didnt cash out quick enough but wish I had. This is a trade gone wrong 4me

Staring strong ending weak classic downtrend price action that needs something blockbuster to reverse sadly I doubt it will come infact most likely there will be a placing or yet another profit warning. All this talk of paid derampers is crazy, it's a myth perpetuated by underwater long term holders across these bulletin boards. Does anybody actually see job adverts for derampers or know mates that do it for a living etc... massive red herring that. Truth is, there are a lot of long term holders who are underwater, but blinkered and only see the potential upside. None of them arr considering the increasing competition in the space, the fact the ceo dumped a load of his stock, the cfo quit and total lack of transparency over what is dropping down to the bottom line.

Anyone here for more than 5mins understands the history here and its not pretty (see below from Girdz). James Draper is guilty until proven innocent in my book. I am not expecting a good update at all and neither are a lot of people as you can tell from the share price action, despite all the positive warm fluffy posts here
