Yes helx seen it all b4 too many times, those are the signs a placing is imminent so look out for them. Unusual comms from the board etc... its there attempt to stoke the price before annoucing the placing. On the rise rampers will be like OMG this is lift off and saying things like 'the bottoms in' & the train is leaving the station then WHAM! Placing details drop and everyone suddenly realises Draper has done it again and you realise there is a new dip to buy. Rinse & repeat.

Usually in run up to a fundraise there is an increase in price as insiders go on a PR promotional spree, sucking in retail with tit bits of news, punchy tweets & presentations etc.. before dropping the placing bomb.

Watch out for the signs.

If by some absolute miracle they hit the revenue targets this year (which given BIDS form for lowering targets and then missing those I am seriously doubtful) they will STILL be loss-making and you think IN THIS MARKET investors are going to put this on more than a 10X multiple. Really?

Take ur head out the clouds and stop ramping.

This will only turn a corner if or when they demonstrate they can make a sustainable profit. Theyve promised too much and disappointed in the past that this is a show me story now.

Only counter from me is that he did make a fortune when bids RTO'd an the fact he had to cash shares out only a year later doesnt fill me with confidence in his money management ability. Maybe now he has doubled his salary that will help (sorry couldn't resist that dig).

I just don't like or trust the guy and I have met him. It concerns me that directors have left and referred to him as a crook.

Anyway all said and done that was a good reply so i wont labor the point.

Jury is out on Draper be interested to see how he handles this next fundraise.

They monitor these boards will have seen the messages the fact they haven't put out a statement says it all.

It will be ticked off at the AGM. They aint gonna wait until the last day of cash then raise they are gonna raise well in advance. Will Draper buy shares in the placing is what I will be looking at. Suspect he wont.

Helx2 if only you were as sceptical of the CEO as you are other retail investors on here.

Ignore what the CEO says and look what he does.

Delivered zero shareholder value
Over egged revenue targets and missed them
Had huge payout when these RTO'd into the SPAC
Paid out again when he sold a tranche of his shares
More than doubles his salary year on year with no justification
His holding in the company has gone from over 20% to approximately 4% in less then 4 years

Care to comment on any of that? No of course not because you think the sun shines out of Drapers butt despite evidence to the contrary.

Bottomz if every price is a good price to buy bids can you explain why the founder and ceo has allowed himself to be diluted from over 20% to 4% in the past 3 years?

He already made millions when these RTO'd and has been paid a 6 figure salary yet goes on to sell shares not take part in any fundraises and treats himself to a 110% payrise.

Quite the opposite of what someone with inside knowledge would do if this really were a screaming buy.

When the fundraise comes which bids have openly said they need will draper take part this time? I seriously doubt it so his percentage holding will go down either further.

This is overhyped an overvalued. Yall can point to broker targets all u like but bids have form for missing them as girdz pointed out. Meant to do 9m in 2021 which every1 was ramping but they ended up doing less then 3m in revenue. If same happens again then the valuation here will look absolutely shocking.

Draper knows it hence why he's allowed his holding in the company drop by 75%. IIs know it hence why they will want a big discount in the placing.

I've sliced today anyway just to derisk..if the deal comes off great I'll still make a packet but if not i have protected the downside should there be a scramble for the exit like with polerean. Its like I said befoee Helx, every price is a good price to buy bids in these lots eyes. So fixated on the sky they aint looking where they're putting there feet & theres a great big hole ahead being dug by Draper right now for them to fall into.

These NEED funds. Its a question of how much and what discount and in these markets and given companies history of overpromising under delivering and missing revenue targets etc I suspect frustrated II's will want a hefty discount to give themselves a level of protection.

Board wont be buying until the valuation becomes a bit more sensible. Trading on a market cap to revenue multiple of 26 right now & obviously still loss-making.

How much are revenues expected to grow this year, perhaps the forward valuation is more attractive.
