myles might be a sly fk. but he's not wrong about avacta
personal opinion: @avacta is just several days into one of the great turnaround stories in the history of aim.
do the research, and you will perceive how #avct's warhead delivery platform, pre|cision, could be on course to revolutionize cancer treatment, owing to its best-in-class tumor-targeting ability, coupled with its immensely broad applicability and versatility.
avacta's market cap has been decimated over the past 18 months - reaching a low point of £101m in may - due to some level 50 bull**** decision-making (by previous mgmt., i should stress) on how to finance the business and on "strategic acquisitions", over the past three years.
but that is the past. the company now has a truly class ceo in place, in the form of @coughlin582; and a super financier now on board, in @hughesy0707 - who is dealing with legacy financial troubles and will ensure the business is adequately funded so that it can begin to fulfill its vast potential.
the uk retail investor community has endured deep trauma at the hands of avct. the ticker is smothered in ptsd. resultantly, i truly believe the current price is artificial. completely detached from fair value. but as that ptsd fades, this share price rerating is only going to accelerate.
at 44.5p right now, the share price is up almost 50% from the 30p mini-equity raise only 6 sessions ago.
but 30p wasn't a fair price. 50p isn't a fair price.
this is a proper situations play in which i think the price discovery period could play out for weeks at least, given just how severely suppressed avacta's mkt cap has been.
good luck, fellow holders the future is bright!
[all in my opinion, dyor, blah blah blah...!]
