Agree Apta has more shots on goal, unclear about the market opportunity though.
Chemo is a nightmare, its basically mustard gas. It does work though, I mean its potent and it does kill tumours. The problem with it, is that it is indiscriminate I.e. it just bathes all cells in the body equally so you have to hope your tumours shrink or disappear before your body just cant tolerate any more of it.
If, however you could deliver that same toxic and potent chemo warhead ONLY to the tumour, without affecting any healthy cells, then it could destroy the tumours easily and leave patients otherwise unscathed. That's what pre|CISION does.
Avacta currently has a quarterly loan payment of around £3m which has been like a weight on the SP with constant dilution these past few years you're absolutely right and hence why the SP is where it is as they issue shares each quarter at 10% discount to VWAP and the shares are all dumped on the market. Now though, Avacta have 2 heavy weight NED's just joined the bored and through Zeus they have managed to arrange a private placing each quarter for to HNWI's who are long term holders meaning the end of the quarterly dumps and hopefully now a sustained rally in the SP. Look at the volume of late and the fact avacta are now trading above the 200dma, perhaps the tides have tuned. We live in hope.
