AFC is a show me story now. People have simply had enough of broken promises delays and arguably lies (from previous management). The world is moving on so fast and other technologies like rolls Royce small modular reactors are increasingly competitive and equally clean.

There was a window a few years back when everything hydrogen went nuts. PHE, CWR, EQT, ITM & AFC but were not there any more. The landscape has changed but the investors minds haven't adapted or realised.

AFC is 5 years away at best and it might not make it that's a fact. Position accordingly is all I'm saying and have a look at some other truly great companies which are in or just starting there uptrends. Believe it or not you can make money at other places

I was once mega excited about AFC but by luck more than judgement I only had a small position when things started to sour and I've not added nor will I add any more.

I just keep a passing interest now and see same old hype, new management, market maker manipulation blah blah its all the same just recycled.

As for me I've done well at Lloyds rolls Royce and now avacta .you see other shares do exist and are in uptrends. Avacta particularly is a company that everyone can get behind (curing cancer) so is not at the mercy of government energy policy or even cost really..its a much safer investment and actually has orders of magnitude more upside than this. I realise this only after not being obsessed with AFC and actually using spare time to research other stocks. Afc is going nowhere for 5 years in my opinion whereas other stocks are moving.

Jaari is talking nonsesne actually. The modus operadi of big pharma is not to develop these things themselves but instead to buy them and own the IP once it is derisked. They pay a premium for derisked assets also and basically avoid all the costs involved in the failed ones.

What if it doesn't turn a corner tho money man. Every single bit of supposed good news is sold into there as bin a persistent seller here for as long as I can remember. At 60m British pounds it has an awfully lofty market cap and needs to be producing at least 6m of free cash flow this year just to maintain the current valuation .

I just dont see that happening and perhaps neither does our big seller.

I get it I really do, hydrogen is good source of energy and has no dirty emissions I just think it comes down to cost as people and businesses are being squeezed every single way from Sunday at present. I feel like going green is not as popular as it once was so all I'm saying is these hydrogen generators need to be cost competitive and I'm not certain they are.

It's OK government saying by 2030 no diesel cars etc but deadlines move and governments change. AFC needed to capitalise on the Netzero hype a few years back but never did. Ok they raised funds at a much higher level which was great, and kept business going but in hindsight should of raised a lot more.

I think my small investment here is written off for 5 years which is fine because its such a small position. I feel for those who are truly balls deep and believed all the hype and over invested that are now stuck heavily underwater and cant bring themselves to sell even a fraction of there stock because this is a 5 year project from now if you ask me and there still no guarantees...

Im not saying there isn't a transition to netzero or actually that its a bad thing. Just that it won't be pursued so aggressively in the economies that actually matter. Also, AFC have and are totally wasting first mover advantage as competition increases.

I once saw this as being a dead cert, but always back then felt it was way over priced and had already factored in a lot of the growth/sales (which actually haven't materialised), now I don't see it as a dead cert and because of that it still seems over priced.

Green its because EUA is nothing but a money sucking dog that had slowly eroded and wasted investors cash over many years. All based on hope and false dawns. It's done reasonable well this year but I feel this is the latest in a series of false dawns for EUA and eventually it will run out of cash and nobody wants to be left holding the baby at that point

Can't you guys see the green energy transition is crippling the UK and makes zero difference to climate change. People are waking up to this fact now and pushing back against it as it is making us all poorer and for what?

This labour government with the obsessed miliband will be booted out first chance the UK electorate gets and all the others barring the looney greens are making noises about scrapping the bonkers net zero targets. I imagine that will and is having a profound affect on afc energy prospects.

Not ideal for those of you heavily under water and hoping to at least break even I realise but that's the reality. Likely this slips to at least 5p as even the hardest of investors realise its all been hype and there are better opportunities out there. 1 such opportunity being avacta which at the forefront of cancer treatment. Now that's not an industry which is going to suffer any shortage of demand and is a bipartisan issue everyone cares about

Audioboom is best company and I never said it is worth 14 pound a share i said it has a max possible multiple of 3 or 4 something like that but that's with everything going right and some decent profits and free cash flow. Sadly that's lacking here and will be for some time
