SP perking up, did say i expected that this week looking at the technicals. Needs something fundamental to power it beyond 180p though, hopefully news about premium funding is on the horizon.

Still sat on my hands but will buy if a bit more volume comes in and puts some structure in here. Looks more like it will than it won't right now.

I would guess and it is a guess that if patient one is still alive after cohort 2 is completed (plus patient 2 and 3) then that'll be what, around 12 months or triple the median and with minimal side effects then the trial could be halted if they are starting to see side effects in cohort 2 even if they dont reach a MTD or see any DLT's as they can infer they'll reach a maximum "soon".

Again another situation where it is useful to compare to avacta. They did not see any DLT's during there phase 1 trial of FAP dox so the original phase 1 trial was extended in a 3+3 dose escalation. It was then extended again due to lack of MTD and the third time it was extended at almost 400% the normal maximum dose of chemotherapy they started to get some side effects so inferred from that they would get DLT's "soon" and as efficacy signals already being seen they didnt continue increasing the dose any further to find a MTD. They did however complete the cohort so it might have interesting parallels with HEMO

Agree and it is already valued at over 100 million pounds which is astronomical give 17k revenues and no profits on sight for years? Afc has been a serial disappointer so as become a show me story now. Investors won't buy into hype hope potential and promise anymore they want to see traction in sales.

I think most likely assuming zero delays H2 2026 is when things START to get interesting but by then of course AFC will need another 1 placing at least with the bulk of the last placing being used to build 4 crackers or whatever it was.

I think CEO is right man at right time and likely he'll turn the ship around but you dont handbrake turn a cruise liner and it'll take time. 5p looks where this will settle IMO and then if AFC do start to deliver the revenues promised it'll climb from there. Obviously actual net profits seem to be a long way off hence why CEO gave such a wooly answer to it.

Last update regarding side effects was 24th March and at that point the RNS said "no adverse effects". Since then the wording has been "well tolerated" only. So its not right to state that three patients have "absolutely zero side effects"

Clearly if they have any side effects the benefits of being alive outweigh them but let's not get ahead of ourselves and needlessly ramp this. The efficacy alone is enough.

Now, dose escalating to twice the dose I can understand the desire to find MTD and the trial design being for 4 cohorts but if company are getting durable CR's with tolerable (or no) side effects, at the lowest doses with the most sick patience then could p1 be ended early and they go straight ahead with P2 I wonder?

Interesting. Still looking for signs of life in the share price and not seeing it. Hopefully news on funding next week then if as promised and we see a premium placing it might start to move with volume.... tik tock

Shouldhavedone peice has rejected 200dma multiple times and now volume declining. Looks more likely a fall from here which makes sense given small pump was only caused by director buys exciting retail. Ultimately these buys are a clear signal nothing major on commercial front is coming anytime soon as otherwise it would be insider trading.

Im just not obsessed with AFC like you clearly are positing day in day out probably over exposed and heavily under water. Thankfully I have other shares in the PF which are now starting their ascent which I can devote more time too so only pop on here now and then to check in.

Afc has been such a let down ill believe what I see not what management say even if the new ceo talks the talk which he does I want to see signs he's walking the walk I.e. sales ramping right up!!

My thoughts

- CEO comes across very well, knowledgeable and straight talking. I liked the bit were he told investors they aren't forced to hold AFC shares and could liquidate in 1 day if required. Fair point.

He's also got a good track recording of creating value and has a decent amount of skin in the game. Actually defended the company from going private and making 80 - 100m himself in the process so big tick for me.

On the downside he was asked about profitability and how the company would finance themselves and he basically didnt answer it instead talking about "commercial viability" and having an order book means raising on better terms or that's how I interpreted it. So for me it looks like more dilution will be inevitable and can only hope the market improves as like he says the market dictate the price not management.

No major news catalysts due for the foreseeable though we may get a much needed rebrand and an update on speedy rev 2 so nothing to get excited about I'm afraid.

Maybe back end of next year thing will start becoming more better for AFC, in the meantime I am still expecting 5p to hit and at that point id consider averaging down otherwise its a bottom draw stock and focus on other shares now in uptrends with closer catalysts such as avacta

Please do keep in mind the overall picture when investing is all I say as its not just about the science. I would go further now and talk about the CLN strategy and the difference between tech and why I think you may be overlooked certain aspects but this is hemo board you are quite right so I won't do that. I do wish HEMO well I really do. Some of the posters here are terrible though and elicit firm rebuttal from me when they are bringing avacta up and calling it a donkey etc..have a pleasant evening

Why would they need to raise money again and again when they've confirmed their in talks with multiple potential partners about a deal for 3rd party warhead?

They have 4 years of clinical data and approx 60 patience treated. 91% disease control rate, partial responses and minor responses in disease with no standard of care. And the patience treated so far have all been on there last legs with 3 prior lines of therapy etc so terminally ill.

Just think what the new dataset will reveal with treatment given to otherwise healthy patience? They dont need discount raises again and again and again hence why the share price is now rising on strong volume. Its turned a corner. A corner i am hoping HEMO begin to turn soon also

Do you think its smart to invest everything in one company? Even if they could turn air into diamonds using a peddle powered dynamo i wouldn't put everything into it. Not smart is it.

But yes unlike HEMO, Avacta are using already proven technologies and treatments so supply chains and manufacturing etc is all already in place for when demand ramps up. All they have done quite elegantly is bond a micropeptide to existing toxic warheads which makes the drug conjugate inert. Completely inert in the body until it reaches a tumour and then the micropeptide cleaves off leaving the unchanged warhead right in the tumour microenvironment but highly concentrated. And the micropeptide is too small to be seen by the immune system so it is excreted harmlessly.

Bolt any warhead you like onto the patented micropeptide and bobs your uncle. Applicable to 90% of solid tumours which is a 200bn+ market opportunity.

Tell me, with 4 years of unequivocal data showing enormous improvement in safety and now using AI avacta are targeting exactly the right patient population for the efficacy part of the trial, what could go wrong?

There is already 50years of efficacy data for the first warhead and the precision linked peptide is proven to work time and time and time and time and time again. Its a shoo in.

That said, what happens if the company have faked all the data what happens if there is a newer better cheaper treatment that comes out of left fields what happens if there is a major economic shock or war brakes out etc there are loads of scenarios where having a diverse portfolio and not all eggs in one basket make sense.

Anyway between avacta with the solid tumours and CAR-T for blood cancer I think we're about to enter the golden age of treatment for cancer. Can see humanity making a real dint in the fight against this disease over the next few years.

The other one of you on about avacta being a donkey, it raised 3m last month with zero warrants at only 7% discount. Its a 100 bagger in plane sight and is far superior to hemo in almost every way.

Doesn't mean hemo isnt a good opportunity at this level because it is, hence why I am interested. If I had to choose between both its avacta hands down however I'm fortunate enough to have made a killing on rolls Royce and so I have spare money to invest not gamble and I dont want to overexposed on avacta. Why I'm explains myself to you I dont know lol

Anyway, with discount placing risk removed and enough cash secured for the company to see it through to a deal id be tempted to put my spare money here. Need to have this confirmed first though as right now technically it looks weak IMHO. Can all change on the right RNS of course

I just hope Vlad pulls something good off for you guys. If the data is compelling he shouldn't be scraping the barrel for coin. I'd say he should be raising at least 6 month cash which SHOULD see HEMO comfortably through to a deal. Yes I know yall think a deal is imminent but I think its more likely December time around ASH with a pediatric arm running in parallel to the 2nd adult cohort.

So roughly 1.5m. If he pulls that off at a premium the market would sit up and take note. Especially if with no warrants but I do doubt that. Is there enough of you to find 1.5m do you think? Just out of interest

Lostapound my average in avacta is 50p. Im in profit now. Got my initial entry wrong but averaged down at pretty much the best possible point I.e. when huge volume came in at 27.5p. I now have an average there better than almost all long term holders so I'm sitting pretty now as price primed and ready for a huge move. Just watch and see.

Hopefully same thing will happen here, what's your average mate? Im guessing I'll have a much better one than you if and when I buy in. From where I'm sitting in my mum's basement life is good. Investing is easy. Listen to others dont go blocking people cos you dont like what you read. Study other companies and learn how to read charts.
