The market will connect all weald players to some extent but no, UKOG not particularly important to Alba - HH and Brockham are. Nothing hidden on those inital flow tests, think we are all aware the next step is extended flow testing to establish (or not) commercial viability. Those initial flow rates are not factored into Alba's share price - we are not even at 10m mcap. DZ did not post about UKOG for any other reason than to undermine sentiment on this board for Alba. So Graphite worth nothing within 5 years, TBS a pipe dream based on Bluejay progress which apparently is nothing like our Ilmenite licence, the weald interests are a con. So you are invested here for Melville Bay, Inglefield and Clogau then or am I missing something special?

I am a bit confused - if our interests in HH and Brockham are economic only what do our 2 new advisers do. Does our increased share in HHDL come with increased responsibility? Not saying there is anything bad here just not sure I quite get it.

What are you babbling on about. Nearly every TBS rns references the coast line and raised beaches. All the posts bar yours have been pretty civil and to the point speculating on different paths to income. Exploration and mining/resource extraction companies do not necessarily always operate like Coke and Pepsi. Many examples out there - look how intertwined the various Weald players are. If Bluejay can make easy money out of us without damaging their own prospects there may be all sorts of possibilities. They have other stated interests in Greenland so doubt after TBS ( not sure if the reason we have it is because Bluejay did not want it).

I think that is the situation, there are variable options and although they may have a preferred path there is no need for the bod to tie themselves to one option. They can see how things play out and decide if they need to do a placing, borrow, JV or sell off whole/part assets (or a mix of options) Rather than Bluejay having a first move advantage I would see it as us in their slipstream. Isnt it SRK handling their feasability study? Didn't our Howard Baker work for them?

I doubt very much any income streams will be soon or significant enough to develop Thule. My opinion is that a credible and positive resource estimate (possibly with great HH testing news) would substantially inflate our SP and give a good opportunity for a placing to fund Thule. Bluejay recently raised cash in this way. We are in their slipstream so could be easier for us pending their feasibility study due soon. Just my view of course but agree detail from Alba would be welcome but not sure many companies like to broadcast potential placings unless necessary. Also i could be totally wrong - perhaps they could borrow, sell off some assets or maybe there is some income that will fund us coming in.....

That is where i have been following Bango but only picked some up last week. Thought the results were excellent and surprised by price dip so thought best opportunity I'll get to buy in - will try and add as many as possible while under �2. Not taking anything for granted but a lot to be impressed by here. One to keep adding and holding i feel.

Demand is also effected by quality/purity -- Amitsoq was churning out pretty good test results as I recall - although at work no time to look through in detail.

Not going to argue that technological change does not a play a big factor in how materials may be used and valued, but graphite is in far wider use than just car batteries and Graphene, so obsolete within 5 years may be a tad OTT. http://www.imerys-graphite-and-carbon.com/markets/ Also the new silicone battery technology, as far as I understand, still has barriers to overcome regarding cost, as well as other battery technologies always in development. It seems far more likely to me you will have different technologies running concurrently with varied pros and cons for a while, especially considering how far ahead car designs usually are. However, this may be why Alba have focused most of their info releases since the end of last summer on Thule, HH and Clogau,..... We will see.

Daveavt - that sounds great haha. To be fair this is not one i am currently invested in but watch on with interest. Market size is definitely a relevant factor but agree on its own it is not a definitive reason to invest. It should be known/discussed in my view though, when trying to assess potential.

There are many battery technologies in development, some involving graphene. However picking up TBS, increasing their interest at HH and looking more at Inglefield (hint of Cobalt) and Amitsoq is what reallt excites me about Alba's potential. Nice article in this weeks IC about future proof miners. Sadly we are too small and under developed to get a mention but Bluejay does get a positive section. In particular they talk of the relative ease and low cost of "mining" raised beaches that is essentially dredging. Also suggests Bluejay are particularly excited about other areas of Greenland that have been passed over by mining majors I think this illustrates the potential benefit of our board's current strategy to pick up licences in Greenland like Thule, Amitsoq, Melville Bay and Inglefield. Appreciate so many hoops to jump through but the potential here v mcap is quite vast.

True that we end up feeding them by commenting - but hard not to challenge such suspicious and endless negativity. By contrast pretty much every post i put up will contain some balance in sentiment. And will specifically relate to the company and its projects/announcements, rarely do i just comment on minor sp movement. There are some i realise that only make positive comments without questioning anything and that can also detract from the debate.
