I'd rather they invest in proving there is extractable resources in their licences. Not fussed if they buy kit, rent it or hire others to do the work with their machines. Investing in plant and machinery they may have issues moving elsewhere makes no sense until they can or can't prove up a licence.

not invested here but often check in to see how they are doing since they listed - very interesting prospect. Hope to invest by the end of the year, as well as Motif. Decent progress it seems since listing.

Nope. The mcap fluctuates with the sp based on market sentiment. The sentiment rarely gives a true value of a company as even companies with good income and dividends still get valued by speculative pe ratios and prospective eps etc. The current sp and mcap is what a company is worth. The old saying - something is only worth what someone will pay for it. As an investor you can speculate that the market has this wrong and it adjusts or that it does not factor in future develoments that you may feel are likely. Or you may feel it is about right or over valued and may adjust down. None of this has anything to do with the amount of shares in circulation. GGP has 4m - it needs every penny to prove something is there. I don't get why you keep commenting here on a share you clearly dislike. I think most, other than the ott rampers, get it is a risky play. But one with potentially huge upside that often can only be delivered by exploration companies. What is your game?

No no, you have me convinced - a 20m company can find something worth 100m and the market will not recognise it if the shares are 1p each instead of �1 each. You have informed me that mcap is irrelevant. Number of shares in issue is now how i base my investment decisions.......

Yes i am unsure of how it will play out this Friday but my feeling is that the SP will drop off slightly - hoping I can scramble a few quid together for a top up if the case - but obviously happy if for some reason the price goes up or is stable as it is - maybe they have some news planned to balance things up - can hope I suppose.

Classic special - make a nonsense statement (too many shares in issue - will stop sp going up on good news). Have said statement exposed, then post multiple times trying muddy the water avoiding the clearly exposed initial bilge. And then being wrong anyway e.g. value determined by eps and assets etc only, suggesting the speculative stance many have taken on news is some how unique to GGP. Not only is it common for exploration companies to be valued on news flow about licenses before any money is banked or indeed value proven, it is common in many sectors, for example early stage bio pharmas (Destiny, Motif and Tiziana could all be accused of the same). Have wondered for a while about where he is coming from but todays efforts clearly show he likes to try and mislead.

Number of shares irrelevant - mcap v value of any potential find only factor really for an exploration play - come on you are an accountant apparently.

Bango looks a good long term play - sp dropped off recently so probably a good opportunity to get in. Covered a lot in IC. They handle payments through direct billing to phones ( using your phone and contract like a super convenient cedit card to pay for apps but also now in some cases goods). Motif Bio also look a good opportunity - high risk though but v high potential reward. Alba still my biggest investment currently though.

Unless you mean just next week (although sp buyback silly and thinly disguised atttempt to rake up your negative view of the warrants/options etc) Try not to get caught up in week to week predictions and fluctuations. Good info from mmi and drilling will help sp. Bad info would send this spinning even further down. Pretty straight forward really.

Because ................ they are not the same company............... their SPs are driven by different factors, despite being connected by HH / Brockham. Rocket science it is not.
