Well that would be nice - seems to be good to be true at current prices. I have always been very unsure of the weald oil story and invested here mainly on the Greenland interests and partly for the Uranium ( a no go it seems now) and the oil as a nice if it comes good sort of hedge, but must admit been looking more closely at it in recent weeks so hoping the numbers you mention are in the right ball park - not holding my breath though. TBS still the most likely company maker for me but I am perfectly happy for HH to do the business. Lots on the go, so hopefully sp starts moving.

Thanks MM - so really it is their ability to promote and sell their technology/kit and demonstrate superiority over existing equipment and rivals products ( it is developed and protected in a lucrative and growing market.)

I dont think Jesus existed and I am not religious, so that is just a nice story that has little bearing on reality - sorry for any offence. My point was on the same lines though, so rather than interacting with him or insulting him we could just remind any looking on of why we invested here, without replying to his posts extending the visibilty of his bilge. The upshot would be every nothing post would be followed by lots of reminders about Alba's prospects.

I have recently starting nibbling here - wish I had taken a punt at 1p - oh well. What I am trying to get to grips with is what are they up against - e.g. are there major competitors trying to do the same thing as them, and are there industry cycles that may effect investment in their products etc. Any info to help me decide whether to buy more (or not) welcome.

CofE Dropzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzone has no interest in Alba other than generating negative sentiment - his comment history makes that as clear as a newly fitted window. There is no comedy or objective input - zilch. I try to not comment these days when his comments generate a chain - best to ignore or bury his pointless waffle in links and comments about Alba's assets/licenses and potential.

Yeah what a bunch of turds. Investing in a company in the hope it's interests and licenses come good to make them money. Who does that kind of thing. All companies are the price they were as any gain was always factored in. There are no examples of companies becoming worth much more than they were. That is how it works. Morons. It is funny what people get up to. What i never understand is if they are trying to manipulate, stupid, totally unhinged or ust love the wind up.

This is a very confusing set of posts. Most of us currently believe the market undervalues Alba, and that in the event of more definitive news the sp will increase - it is a speculative position. I don't understand what you are driving at. It may not work out but i think a decent chance it will, thats why i invested. Why did you invest Dropzone, i mean whatsocurring.

I don't think many would consider it controversial to combine your comment quoted above with today's relentlessly negative posts, to conclude you feel there is little here to stimulate the SP, and in that event being true it seems most likely the SP would drop off over time, widening your losses. There are some very good books on investing for beginners and pretty much all will advise to cut losses when you feel your holding will not perform as expected, try not to be sentimental.

Whatsoccurring - you definitely need to sell your Alba shares. As you have expertly observed, this pit of a share is about to bomb, worsening your losses. You are welcome.

Don't think they can announce fresh info at events like this. Just elabourate a little. Hh improving sp over 12 months could be meant as an ongoing effect from flow testing to production applications in 2019. Not a single hit. Happy if still talking positively about a JORC for TBS. Would be good to know if any chat about Melville Bay, Inglefield and Clogau.

Been watching this a while with a few shares, finally got around to adding some this week. Is there anywhere out there this share gets a bit of chat? Seems so under valued, acquisitions, decent product line and expanding sales into new territories. Would be great to find somewhere where there is some thoughts exchanged about Beximco.

I think the interview in December made many of us feel the JORC for TBS was close "we'll be working on that in the coming weeks" I believe GF said in December. He is usually pretty cagey about specifics so I read quite a lot into that (he could have said looking to progress on a resource estimate through 2018 for example) - so if at the time he felt that was a fair thing to say, then not impossible in the next month or two. However since that interview he seems have sailed a careful course around that subject so Q3 or 4 more likely if another field season required - if so a bit disappointing but I understand that this kind of business is fraught with uncertainties and unexpected complications so accept delays are part of it. If we do not get it at all this year, without an explanation to sign post why or when it will come then I may start to feel differently about Alba.

Must admit not keen on RNS releases like this when expecting other news, but they did tweet the following post today which would be pretty dumb/awful if they know MMI info for EG is poor. "Three active exploration campaigns now underway - Havieron (drilling) Ernest Giles (MMI results pending, drilling Q2) and Firetower (3DIP)"

Not read latest IC but they have always suggested the PE ratio relative to the progress made in a fairly new area with high potential is worth it. Have they changed their stance? My view is that ratio could be rapidly reduced the way they are going.

I emailed them once - took ages to come back and just hid behind the "Market regulations mean we will declare any relevant news via RNS" or words to that effect and thanked me for my interest. I asked them to explain further about the Clogau mine, specifically who is GMOW - the other 51% and what is there in terms of plant/kit/machinery there - which it thought should have been information included in the RNS to explain the decision to invest there.

Not entirely sure how the process incorporates the different licences - the link only seems to mention PEDL137 and not PEDL246 - so are we waiting on OGA consent for 246 or are they essentially the same thing as far as this process is concerned?

To be fair not sure renewable energy could function without hydrocarbon based products anyway. It is how oil is used rather than the fact it is extracted.
