One bright spot was when Colin Paterson, the BBC arts and entertainment correspondent gave everyone the heads up on air, a couple of days before Wireless. He mentioned Melody by name. The BBC need to keep him - for our benefit.

As artists and venue managers 'in the business' you'd think they would be aware by now that this is something starting to emerge. Why don't they find put more? Surely they must know of Wireless, if nothing else.

Who said anything RBBe, about making a bid of 10p? Two years ago AM was quoted as saying that if Melody were a West Coast company they would be valued at a billion.
In the event of a take out it wouldn't be a simple matter of offering Melody the share price value. There will have been talks behind the scenes (maybe there already have been). The shares would most likely be suspended, options and warrants (presumably) exercised , and the deal completed at whatever is has been agreed at. A little more than 10p I would say.

Just type it in, 5O. It would be a lot easier !

It depends on the figures really. i.e. how much damage the government does.

With the government set to grab more tax whichever way they can, CGT is unlikely to escape.
Hopefully any changes won't take effect until the next financial year.

In which case, if the BoD are looking to sell, it might be beneficial to do so sooner rather than later. With 155 million and 117 million shares respectively, the founders could lop a hefty slice off their CGT bill. And to an extent it will apply to anyone with shares not wrapped in an ISA.

On the JG website they are only selling tickets for 2021. This year has been cancelled. And even next year is by no means certain.
It's not as if they can put on musicals behind closed doors. They can't. It's anyone's guess when lockdown will be lifted, particularly in US. Until then, Melody are grounded.

The next news we are waiting for is Brixton. It should be a stonker. They are going to start monetising. And we will all start feeling a bit more positive.

Putting on a play with a few actors involved shouldn't be too much of a problem. But a JG musical with a whole troupe of actors singers and musicians makes social distancing impossible. If it's frustrating for us what's it like for JG himself?

In any case what is happening in USA is of more concern to us. BLM marches all over the country won't have helped. It may well have set them back months.

On the bright side, Melody did have a show in the can last year. Assume it went well in the absence of anything said to the contrary. Unlike gigs, the musicals are in fixed venues. Hopefully Melody will have their cameras already installed ready to go.

The tech has now been tested , as have the new studios. Along the way Melody have helped numerous artists, some talented, some others maybe not so much, with free gigs. And Live Nation owe them a drink. IMO.

The ticket says on it 'iconic studio' the way three others have been described , but the tickets for Brixton are to be sold exclusively by Ticketmaster i.e. Live Nation.

This has to be when Melody start taking money for all their work. The SP will establish a P/E rating and begin to move northwards. That may even appease Horse. (God ,I hope so !).

It's an open field, but FB have always been take out favourites. IMO.
They've worked with Melody, they live nearby in LA, and whilst they are only half the size of Apple and Amazon, they have $40billion cash to spend.
Then again, wouldn't a bidding war be fun?
