They are acquiring a collection of contracts to supply and install broadband to faraway places. They have 70% bought Quickline specifically to do this. No-one else seems to have the tech to do it.

They are getting a huge helping of government money. (it's the government who wants to push on with this.)

They have quality institutional support - six on board with holdings ranging from 4.7% to 27.7% with Harwood Capital who've just topped up £2.3m .

Plenty of cash on the balance on the balance sheet. As they move on adding subscribers, this will be added to.

Sell if you want to but most serious investors are buying.

This only covers period to 30 June, two months before we knew anything about Napster, numbers are almost immaterial.

IMO the most significant bit is 'centralise the duplicated functions into Napster's business in Seattle' and the rest of that paragraph. That almost - but doesn't - mention Nasdaq. Yet !

Re your 'sideline' on Melody (LOL) - this goes back a bit as you say. It does make you wonder how much pre-planning has gone into all this

'Awful' doesn't begin to describe this year, but it's been the same for most, one way or another.
But 2021 should see the back of Covid following vaccine developments.

For Melody, there are exciting times ahead for next year. Napster is a huge positive step, and the pent-up demand for the Broadway musicals is likely to see queues round the block when they start again - including streaming customers!

This doesn't seem like anything to worry about.
Previous placings have not been underwritten and without trawling through the last 'long' RNS there is no reason to suppose this one was any different.

In any event Melody issued an RNS at 5.00 pm on 25 August re the successful fundraise through this placing/subscription.

Certainly the London and LA venues are not getting a vast amount of use Italian. I suppose it's a matter of who wants to perform.

However, the whole idea of Melody was to provide a live VR solution for fans who couldn't get to sought-after gigs - the bigger the name the better . As it is , they're providing medicine to a music industry currently affected by Covid, which has only had a limited take-up.

I wonder to what extent, if any, this year's events - the original lockdown was in March - lit Melody's fire for the Napster deal.

Personally , I just want JG's musicals back on stage. IMO this is Melody's jewel in the crown. Sadly even they have had to make redundancies. Can't imagine how much pent-up demand there will be when they're back.

These are the shares that were in effect a discounted rights issue at the time of suspension. £3.50 was the offer price, unfortunately only offered to the select few i.e. the larger shareholders.
