Glasto is on the BBC all over the week-end.
It makes sense not to collide with it with details of Wireless acts. At least, it does to the rest of us.

We won't be firing on all cylinders until theatres are unlocked, which won't be until there is zero social distancing. That almost seems like a bygone age, but we live in hope.

So until then gigs is the only game in town. A successful Wireless and Melody can start to monetise. Then revenue, then profit, then a va va voom SP.

Not surprising they'd be doing the US as well. Although TBH, it doesn't look anything like as exciting as some of the UK line-up.
Maybe there is more to be announced, but it still begs the question, why aren't Melody invited to the party? Could it be they are too busy?

There's no shortage of suitors for MVR, but Facebook have always been favourites. IMO.
Like Ready at Dawn, Melody have worked alongside Facebook and Oculus. Facebook currently have $40 billion to go shopping with. There must be a lot LESS likely acquisitions for Facebook.
There is the added bonus that Melody would continue to stand alone as a subsidiary, Which is Facebook's way of doing things these days.

I was kind of agreeing with you earlier Opti. A take out has to be on the cards.
As Petebo said, the founders hold a large chunk of the equity. So why wouldn't they want to cash in their chips at some point? Especially if they were left to run Melody as a subsidiary under someone else's umbrella.

You say MVR can't sell, promote, market or monetise. From the technical nous point of view, I'm sure they can. They've done far more complicated stuff than that already.
But they are still a minnow and as things stand it needs a whole wedge of cash to get them known. This all comes back to 'take out'.

Everything is right. In fact it couldn't be more right.
For those who ever doubted Melody, building the three new studios for their purposes was a statement of intent. They've needed live-testing first , which is something I admit never occured to me.

But once they turn on the monetisation taps and the income starts to flow in , the SP will react. We'll get a proper P/E rating and the whole thing should become less of a traders' playground. Who knows, we may even get a dividend!

Opti, why not just keep it simple?
There's no revenue, so the SP is sticking. Can't think why they haven't started to monetise, they've done everything else there is to be done. But there it is.
It's only how any other share would behave.

Colin Paterson, Arts and entertainment correspondent for the BBC, gave Melody some good PR on Radio 5 last night. Specifically about the Cypress Hill gig.

Unless Mr Trump and/or the Mayor of New York decide otherwise Broadway like UK theatres, will not be back until 2021, almost the last thing to be unlocked. Just our luck.

I may be wrong, but I can't think the New York studio will be used solely for JG. Rather Melody want a geographical spread. There are 2500 miles between LA and NY. In fact, hopefully Melody will have their cameras installed in the venues and will have recorded stuff in beta mode.

On the bright side, as JG is a player on Broadway and West End he may well benefit from other venues which do not return. There are likely to be some going into admin, which he may acquire. It's survival of the fittest, but he may save a number of jobs.

And they'd still be light years ahead. I won't say 'Of the Competition' because there isn't any.

Nobody is suggesting Line Nation collapses or that they need Melody to survive. But without Melody there simply wouldn't be a Wireless this year.
Sure Melody were included again this year. That's because last year was a success.
Are you saying that Melody's whole world then comes to an end? With three purpose built studios they now have.
