Chas - the market had factored in the expected Lidsey production rates when the SP was circa 36p. And corrected the SP when we did not reach those numbers (for now). I would base it on expected rate of 900bopd from Lidsey....so as you say with the increase oil price , that number will be smaller now...circa 560bbls

OGA want to know companies have a bag of cash for any eventualities...last thing they want is for an oil company to go bust after experiencing a blow out for instance. Thats why the US Government was very fortunate that it happened to BP and not one of their small Ma & Pa companies who would have gone bust and left the mess to the US tax payer. It would appear that the OGA sequence is: 1. OGA approves 25% acquisition. 2. Angus provide evidence to OGA that they have the money to carry out the flow test and a financial contingency for any eventuality (hence �2million placing). 3. OGA approve transfer of Operatorship to Angus.

I still think there will be a slight SP tremor when the placing is announced...considering we don't know the placing discount price. As I said before if they are wanting the �2million placing then it must mean Balcombe is fast approaching (I do note that the RNS only confirmed the 25% acquisition and not the transfer of Operatorship). I remember last year around this period where the SP had dropped from 15-17p to 9p over the BBC / Newspaper ? Councillor Wellman debacle.....It felt like an eternity where the SP was stuck in a rut (yes Angus never took out placings every other week). The SP rose initially due to Brockham, but got a real boost from UKOG BB activity before the great expectations our Lidsey production figures. I would like to see something similar with HH flow test soon to be started and then our own twin flow tests at Balcombe and Brockham..... Any hint at Brockham delays and jump in to the Balcombe well test as soon as the i are dotted and t's crossed by OGA. Sooner the Balcombe flow test results are in the sooner we should hopefully see a recovery in the SP and start the production licence process which will take circa 2 years. Pboo - that's what I said in my post regarding the sucker rods. It's more prudent to post a photo to show the entire crate or at least describe its dimensions +/- of course and then we can get a better idea of its purpose. But to post on here and twitter (wealdoilers) yesterday saying the new esp hasn't been installed and is in the crate....fast forward 24hoyrs and now it's what ever was in there has been taken out. The best thing to do is to be certain of the facts. I'm not having a go at you, but sometimes a misjudged post on twitter or on here can cause a lot of hassle.....not as much as an article in yesterday's evening newspaper lol

Pboo - appreciate you revisiting the site to take further photos. After reviewing the photos and especially the close up photo of the donkey over X2, I would say it's highly doubtful that the ESP downhole pump is in that crate. Firstly the ESP is an expensive piece of kit with electrical connections, so I would be very surprised for Angus to leave it out in the elements (even with it being covered, it's not in a controlled climate free of moisture). I would expect the ESP crate to be kept safely in a ware house, ready for the rig to arrive and then it would be shipped to the site. Considering this is the replacement ESP, even more careful handling should required. There should not be any surface activity on X2 as it's a downhole pump and besides a pressure / flow gauge...you will not see anything. The crate has already been opened (check close up photo) and I would say that the new sucker rod lying next to the crate was originally in there. As for why the donkey is connected like the image in the below link.... https://goo.gl/images/w1SkL8 I can't answer the reason why it's connected with the stuffing box. It doesn't make sense, except for possibly testing out production flow rates conventionally. After all we are restricted with 8 tanks per week each holding circa 221bbls. The market has not been informed of flow rates...if they are high then they may produce xxbbls for several hours and then close the well in ....better to have short bursts of production rather than produce 191bbls in 2 hours and then your well is shut in for the next 22hours. Lidsey X1 suffered from waxing due to this. This may be another reason why Pboo didn't see X2 moving.

Crikey....just when you think you will see some stabilisation....and then another placing rears it's ugly head. Well if there is one positive crumb to be had...it means Balcombe OGA approval for the Angus acquisition and Operatorship will be imminently approved as per the Angus RNS (22nd Jan). * Pay within 20 working days of 20 January 2018 �2,000,000 less �150,000 already paid under a confidentiality agreement with the Sellers;

Pboo - I was referring to the fact the photos were taken on a Sunday. Are they over the wells? Angus will have been varying the flow tests to find the sweet spot...perhaps...and it is only a perhaps they are using the donkey (if it's on X2) to see how much they produce using the nodding donkey. Best to refer that question to Angus. And also ask them if the production flow rates have increased. Ps - I've just cancelled my Argos order for a zoom lens camera after reading you're going back to the site lol. Appreciate the effort.

Pboo - thanks for posting the link on here. It's so much easier if somebody is highlighting a statement or in this case a photo that the link is posted as well ...otherwise it just creates a lot of work. I think if the photos were taken today from the same spot or a TimeLapse video...that would give a better indication. Any photo of the daily tanker?

I'll repost my post from 2 days ago..... Lets get down to the important thing...flow rates and therefore money coming in. We should now be up to 226bbls of oil produced every day from the 3 wells. Angus will not have opened the tap fully with Lidsey to prevent what gpmph1 just stated (long term production from the reservoir and prevent inducing water into the reservoir....that's game over once it becomes fully saturated). Angus will be adjusting the ESP setting to ascertain what gives the best flow rate without inducing water....so I would expect the Lidsey daily production rate to increase from the quoted figure.

Pboo - if you've read the last several days / weeks of posts...you will have seen how a Troll has tried to muddy the water. It wasn't a personal comment against yourself ...but a general comment. Oil companies have to report what they are physically pumping out of the ground...not what they could be producing if under certain circumstances. New well X2 is an ESP as was originally planned.

Bopd = barrels of oil per day.....correct answer is 191 bbbls from both Lidsey wells per day. I hope this closes the matter as the board can't seem to progress forwards.

Mmhater - the SP rose to 36p because of the expectation surrounding Lidsey production....being that the production would be a lot higher. When the terrible first RNS came out...the price dropped. Brockham will most certainly push the v,aye Northwards....how much is to be seen.

Harts - Balcombe has all the approvals to carry out the 7 day flow test. Angus wants to wait to flow test Balcombe and then straight away Brockham afterwards. Continued Potential Future Production Stage Should the borehole flow testing and pressure monitoring works reveal that there are hydrocarbon reserves that could viably be extracted in the future, then after stage 1 has been completed the borehole would be temporarily suspended, whilst a new planning application was prepared and submitted for the production stage. During this period all plant and machinery would be removed from the site and the land would effectively lie dormant pending the outcome of the planning application. 3.6 Programme 3,6.1 The borehole flow testing and pressure monitoring data will require analysis. The analysis will enable Cuadrilla to decide whether or not to seek the necessary planning, permitting and other approvals required to take the site forward as a production site. This analysis and assessment process will take approximately six to nine months to complete after the flow testing and pressure monitoring has finished and the data been collected. In the event that the assessment concludes that a future production phase would be commercially viable, then an additional 18 months would be required to apply for and secure the necessary planning, environmental permitting and other permissions required for production operations. The borehole will be safely suspended during any such application period. No production will take place at Balcombe, as it�s a new field and requires OGA approval ..this will take circa 2 years. At 5min 20secs - Vonk mentions Balcombe Kimmeridge is 50% thicker than HH. The operations will involve the mobilisation of plant/equipment on the site, cleaning up the lateral wellbore utilising diluted hydrochloric acid, at a [10%] concentration through coiled tubing inserted into the well, a nitrogen lift to initiate the flow of hydrocarbons from the well, and the installation of the pump jack/beam pump. A crane up to 40m in height will be required to support the coiled tubing, and a work over rig will be needed to help set up the pump jack/beam pump. Hydrocarbon Flow Testing 3.2.3 The flow testing operations will be undertaken over approximately fourteen days and will require a pump jack/beam pump to be installed to pump fluid from the borehole to storage tanks on the site. An enclosed flare with a maximum height of 13.7m will be located on the site and will be used to burn off any associated gas produced during the well flow test period. The hydrocarbon flow from the well will last for no longer than seven days and during this time the flare will be available for operations on a 24-hour basis. Pressure Monitoring 3.2.4 Once the flow testing has been completed the pump jack/beam pump will be removed and the pressure gauges will be installed in the borehole. This is estimated to take 2- 3 days to complete. The borehole will then be shut in and secured for a period of up to 60 days. During this time, the gauges will record pressure in the wellbore but there will be no activity on the site. If the flow testing and pressure monitoring works reveal that any hydrocarbon reserves are not of sufficient quantity and/or quality to extract in the future then stage 2 will commence.
