Can you point me to the 25% false negative report please?
I'm aware there are concerns with the samples being taken correctly but I haven't seen any report suggesting the test itself is problematic

It mentions cvs. Do we know what test kits they are using. They also mention that they have a rapid 30 minute test

I'm hearing that as well. Also when a patient moves from care home to hospital they need to have a test performed and vice a versa

I see your point however it should be mandated by each individual country and the responsibility would be with each airport. It would become an extra cost on top of landing fees and taxes.

looks like there is only so much money bouncing around for these stocks. the money goes out of stocks deemed to be out of favour to be pushed onto the stocks that are in favour. ncyt doesn't appear to be one of the darling stocks right now

It's evident from that article that should a reliable antigen be available that the pcr will still be required to confirm. Any company with a product in either of those camps will not just be very profitable but very much required

WHO orders more than 30m tests for countries that most need them

The World Health Organization has ordered more than 30m Covid-19 tests for countries in desperate need of them.

The diagnostic tests, ordered from five companies, will be delivered over the next four months to “countries that need them the most”, said Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO director-general at a news conference on Monday.

The first shipment will begin next week, via a supply chain being coordinated by the UN's World Food Programme. Dr Tedros said the WHO had worked with Unicef and other partners to identify accurate coronavirus tests that could be manufactured in large quantities.

The WFP is coordinating the delivering of key supplies such as gloves and masks to more than 100 “priority countries”.
