The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
1000p popped.
Should hold this and continue upwards now.
Interesting that Ian Simm said the capacity was there to deal with double the assets AUM.
Hopefully the divis will continue to rise.
Great little stock
Starting to gain good momentum now. Glad I got back in. Was waiting for ages for a good entry point. Still a great growth story here. I can only see it going from strength to strength especially as the recent Russian/Ukraine situation has highlighted a need to diversify away from oil/gas for energy. Anyone willing to speculate SP by the end of calendar year?
Nice little spike today. Hopefully the beginning of upward momentum.
Nice spike today. Hopefully hold the gains and kick on back up over 1000.
I tried this a few years ago with something else and HMRC said Aim shares don’t qualify. Please tell me how this is possible?
Been waiting and watching for a while to jump in here. Feel a bit sneaky getting in during the global equity correction. SP has recovered almost immediately which shows the strength of the stock. I was originally waiting to see if it broke and held £1.00 but with this opportunity in sp drop, due to global correction and nothing to do with the fundamentals, I felt it was well worth jumping in now. I’ll watch for a year and decide whether to add. Definetly one worth keeping for a few years.
Global correction in equity. I didn’t think I would get the opportunity to top up at lower levels so soon. Every cloud has a silver lining as the saying goes.
Keith selling up?? Anybody any thoughts on the big sells?
Cracking share this. TIcks all the boxes. If you want to see some real value in this hold for the long term as I believe this has a long long way to go. The Aum is only going to increase exponentially after the Pax tie up. After £10 billion is hit it will gain more momentum. A real little gem on AIM. I wonder how long before it hits the larger market?
The sooner they can get rid of the African investments the better. Nothing but trouble. You are always at the mercy of the next tinpot dictator and not only do the goal posts change so does the shape of the ball and the game you are playing.
I wonder if the team will flog the Dattels leftover pf as soon as they get the chance? It would give us funds for the new Asian pf right enough, especially GCM, although GCM would be a very good long term money spinner. Interesting times ahead indeed. Just a bit of patience required.
Noticed the SP has been sliding down recently. Can't see any reason for this except selling because of no news which in it's self seems illogical, granted it's AIM of course but still. Are we due any positive news soon? Might be time to start thinking about another top up to average down.
Results coming soon GCM would be a major catalyst. News of the new investments to divest from the volatile commodities sector could be but depending on sentiment from existing/new investors Oil price rising sharply:-but this is unlikely. Special divi:- very unlikely I know. New chairman:- unlikely I know. So just sit tight. SP drifting slightly but pretty stable considering. Aren't good shares supposed to be boring (albeit should rise slowly and predictable). Tongue in cheek of course........
Ha ha. Fair enough
You seem to be asking and answering your own questions shareaction. What is the point of your posts? No offence intended
Me to Fred. Was it you who put me onto this on the "other" thread? Numbers look interesting. The cost reductions have had a big influence. I'm waiting to see if they can attract more business, get the DNO licence. I was looking at the positions they want to fill. One of them is along the lines of media content manager. They want to get the brand out there and also looking for an head accountant to run the money and answer to the finance directors. I'm sure the longer term holders here can inform much better than me. So far though I'd say the sp is at a peak until the company hits the next level. The directors have been cashing in and taking profits recently which worries me slightly. Like I say I like the look so far but will watch until I see evidence the company are going achieve the next step. Good luck all.
They obviously think so or they wouldn't be spending money doing it.
That's why I think that Tang and co diversifying is a good idea. Pic up some more stocks like Blackham and Hibby.
Ironestones a long term play anyway. Wouldn't worry too much about it.
Another rise today. Recovering well. Looking at the 1 year charts the SP is going great guns
