Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
LoL. Yaaaaas the Master is back. News of his demise have been grossly exaggerated. Nothing wrong with taking stock from time to time. I think this ship is starting to come in. I'm genuinely excited at what investments Tang and team have their eyes on. We all know Polo SP is very undervalued but I think, with a bit of luck, this is going to be a great multibagger. Good lunch all
All the best Master. You will be missed. Make up a bucket list.......and enjoy Best regards
Another steady rise again. Polo SP recovering solidly. Long may it continue. Hopefully when GCM gets the nod Polo will spike up a bit as well
I fear the Master has left us for good.....
GCM defo but I'm very interested to see what the team team start picking up. They've obviously got their eyes on a few bargains. If Hibi and Blackham are anything to go by Tang and crew should do very well for us.
What do you suggest we do 50glass?
Message was to Jamesss.
Perhaps that's why he wants to diversify and not solely rely on the violent swings of the Aim market and cyclical commodity prices. Do you agree with what the board want to try?
You've been a bit quiet Master.....
If the team can invest in some decent companies with good growth potential it'll drive up the SP which is what we all want and need (unless your short). Anything that's drives up SP is got to be considered and at least the team are taking action to achieve this. Any critics out there got any better ideas?? We're paying them to increase our wealth so let's give them a chance to prove themselves with investments that they've picked. So far the team has done very well with the choices they have made. It's mostly Dattels old junk that's been dragging on us like an anchor admittedly there's been some terrible luck involved. So let's sell the dead end assets and invest the cash somewhere better. Am sure Tang is itching to get his 40p buy in looking like a better deal and doesn't look like it'll happen whilst he's alive unless he takes some action to change the investment ideas. Would anyone disagree to a SP of over 40p? If the SP and investment gets to a decent level then dividends will start getting paid. So it's a yes from me.
They've obviously got their eyes on a few bargains. Personally I don't have a problem with the team diversifying. If it hedges us against the cyclical commodities sector then that's got to be a good thing. I would like to see us move away from high risk and politically unstable areas such as Africa. It always seems to be two steps forward one back in this region or one forward two back as has been the case
Like I said it's Aim. Buyer beware. You know what goes on. Speculate for Risk/reward etc. Surely your stop loss would have kicked in before the SP fell that far if you are worried about short term movements????? If I wanted as near as a sure thing I'd have invested more in bonds or bond proxies and stayed WELL clear of the Wild West Aim. Sell up and "invest" your money in a savings account then. I not going to get into it with you anymore. Merry Christmas and good will to all BB posters ;-)
Exactly the company is moving forward. Shareactions post is some what dramatic/over the top. Obviously a deramper.
If you've been invested here since Dattels then you'll know just as Tang took over the sector had a massive correction as well as some events like Ebola. Action, inaction, forgiveness, applauded etc doesn't come into it. You sound emotional. I'm a long term holder therefore I understand why the SP crashed and why it recovered and how far it will rise until it meets my selling target. No emotion involved. As far as reporting goes why the hell are you invested in an Aim company if you are pedantic about RNS's. You do realise Aim is fast and loose.....and the regulators don't care. Tell your local MP how unfair AIM is. Write a letter. Tell Teresa May. Attend the AGM and have your say. How many shares do you have out of interest? Please keep us informed how you got on. As far as the dip goes if your a LTH then some would see it as a good buying opportunity. If your in short term then your stop loss would have saved you from the fall. Yes? Haven't seen you post any opinions recently, about anything else. What about your opinion about Blackham, Hibiscus, GCM etc Genuinely interested on your views/fact based opinion. We've had the flash mob rampers. Are you a solo flash deramper. Merry Christmas and look forward to your intelligent input positive or negative.
And since the repositioning the SP and NAV had reacted very well. Why bring up old negative news that has no impact on current SP? Water under the bridge etc
Its Aim not Ftse 100
Didn't you notice the portfolio being re-balanced in moving out of Africa to Australia, North Sea and Indonesia?????????
Not sure I follow your question?
British company DP rail are to build and finance a new railway in Bangladesh. Somebody must think it's a good idea to invest in Bangladesh infrastructure...... I wonder if Bangla will produce there own steel. If so they're going to need some coal for those furnaces............
The RNS holds no surprises positive or negative. This year was about rebalancing the portfolio after a horrendous 2015, commodities slump, some bad luck with investments in Africa etc Steady the ship, turn loss making investments into profitable ones. Buy into solid forward looking investments. Tang and the team have achieved this as evident. The company is looking in much better shape, better investments and good news still to come in the pipeline i.e. GCM and Celamin. Personally, considering our position last year, I think it's been a pretty good year. Look at the SP chart over 1 year. Recovery is solid and looking good for 2017. I for one will be having a wee top up in January when the traditional market dips. I think the SP dip is MM mischief making to drum up business. Look at the SP movements the last couple of weeks. Bit obvious. All the best for 2017 folks.
