Looks like Polo investors all dug in till POO rise next year despite MM's. Not much action for the day traders here. All in all I'd say 2016 has been a good solid year for us, especially looking at the 1 year chart. I'd more than happy if 2017 was like 2016. Long steady rise equates to a strong supportive SP. Commodities sector is back in favour and a good rise in POO should see us do well in 2017. Looking like I'll need to add to my holding before end of tax year.

Market seemed to like the news SP up.

So from what I can work out..... WTI want to pay off all the debt to Orion and both parties confident???? If so will be good news for us. Debt gone = bigger dividends for Polo. Have I picked it up completely wrong? Tactics different to what I'm thinking? Any views

Been quiet lately. Good to see we're holding. Looking forward for the next step up. Long and steady rise will suit me just fine.

Yeah it's interesting watching the tactics play out. Wonder if the yanks will reign it in a bit as well. One hand washes the other etc. Or maybe they'll just go totally self reliant. OPEC price movements won't really matter to them then. Keep the jobs and tax in the US as a result. Time will tell. Should provide a good lift for us. All going to plan the 2017/18 results will make very good reading.

Apparently OPEC have reached a deal to cut

We seem to be nudging 8p quite a bit now. Hopefully break through and push towards 9p before year is out. I know I said 8p but very happy to be proved wrong.......in a positive way of course!

They've painted themselves into a corner and everybody knows it.

Won't matter. The Americans are going to buy oil from domestic producers first and the Arabs can whistle. Would be handy if you owned shares in a low cost oil producer with lots of acerage and tapped potential.......;-)

Just been reading last years results. Basically Mr. T explains why he repositioned the portfolio, what assets were bought and why. Now looking at the results of this I believe the chap has played a blinder. Good work. I also think the best has yet to come. This years results will be along the lines of how well the assets have performed and should perform further as sentiment in the sectors gains momentum. Looking good for 2017 folks. Quite pleased how Polo has recovered. Along with the santa rally the results should give the SP a nice boost. SP predictions for year end anybody. I'm being conservative so saying hopefully break 8p and hold above.
