No wonder it didn't pass. Looking to issue more shares — up to double the current amount — without giving existing investors the chance to buy in first. That could seriously dilute your stake. It gives the company more freedom to raise cash or handle things like warrants, but it does so at the expense of shareholders who are already invested. Considering the new investors bought in effective before the GM (RNS says 3rd Sept.), I wonder if they knew/managed to vote

"Resolution 2 – Disapplication of statutory pre-emption rights

Conditional on the passing of Resolution 1 above, a special resolution to disapply pre-emption rights pursuant to section 570 and 573 of the Act. This Resolution would allow the Directors to allot new Ordinary Shares on a non-pre-emptive basis: i) for up to approximately 200 per cent of the Company’s issued share capital; and ii) for authorities in connection with the exercise of warrants."

If they were serious about not being able to mine a huge load of profitable Gold in the ground unless resolution 2 was passed, they would have been on the front foot over the weekend to issue notice first thing this am about reconvening another GM...

I wonder how much the company expenses were to get them all together for the GM? No doubt a few thousand ££.

If anyone is considering investing here, research the ECHO RNSs and you’ll see a very very similar playbook.

Don’t give the old “new company, new strategy” garbage. The wording in the RNSs is exactly the same.

We were told by a certain couple in here it would 100% pass this time and it would be out of the blocks this week “fact”.
