Very true. The question is where the probability of success lies. I’d guess that it’s better than a 1 in 10 chance of success, so 8p seems good value. But as you say could easily be zero. There were a lot of people on the eve of the feb 14th FDA announcement that we’re “100% sure” it would pass, shows you can never be sure. Many have gone suspiciously quiet ever since. But as I said, risk reward seems attractive here

How come everyone is so sure is Salam? Did I miss something? I though the client wanted it to start “yesterday” and that was well over 12 months ago. Surely we’re waiting on sanctions related issues not terminal openings??

I can’t blame you for your exasperation Ned. There has been minimal news of late and none of it positive. But I feel that now is not the time to sell.....when the market is not pricing in any expectations. When we’re all convinced that the deal is just round the corner is when you should have sold - at least for the past 7 years. I honestly feel that the BoD have done a great job getting the Iran deal to where it is....but the thing they’re best at is pumping expectations and share price. I’m sure this will happen again before long. This doesn’t stay below 10p for long.

Silver lining is that the share price has rarely been below these levels.....a few days at the end of 18, July 18, end of 17 (just before the Xmas RNS) and for nearly a month in May 16. Granted the market cap has been lower than current value a fair bit more than that, but share price does seem to count for something. Past performance is no guantantee of future anything.....but it don’t think WSG is in an awful place currently. That said, this is getting very tedious

Totally disagree. It’s just a factual RNS as they should be. PIs are constantly complaining about how misleading RNSs are and making promises that never materialise. To me if feels like the RNS from a real company, rather than a typical AIM amateur hour outfit.

The 150% rise is from the 5p intro day bottom I assume? We becuase the bounce on AIM the ADRs never opened down as much. So they don’t have that bounce to come

It was a surprisingly brief RNS. I take your point, especially about amateur investors. But I’d argue that there a fairly amateur BoD. Real companies, properly listed or with listed debt tend to release much more informative RNSs and generally manage market expectations much better. I had a “discussion” with DrM on this board about his 100% certainty and about how if that were the case everyone should be re mortgaging and leveraging up this guaranteed profit. Idly I haven’t seen him post in the last 2 days. To be fair he persuaded me with some arguments and I went from £4K invested to £5k. Luckily my doubling down yesterday am I’m out of this hole now. Just not out permanently yet. Silly me

I’m back in profit after losing £4K on the day and adding back at 5p and 5.5p. I said to myself I’d bail at that point yesterday. Take it as a near miss and move on. But it just keeps climbing. This could get silly if they can get approval, but I’m just not convinced that if it was that close they’d have released the RNS that they did yesterday.

Ah but what are the odds once you take into account that he already has a four of a kind?!?! If he has 4 kings I’d say the odds are zero ;-)

judging by the certainty with which a lot of posters are asserting that the FDA will approve, I’d be amazed if the share price didn’t have a good % of the upside already priced in.
