i didn't say i don't think BBs have no impact, i said they have no impact on share price...there is a big difference. i also wasn't trying to stop anyone from posting. i was pointing out suspicion of someone posting as if knowledgeable yet having a seemingly titanic hole in basic information....and that was a different thread. this thread i was just telling Invest that he's too emotional for AIM. nothing i haven't said to him before. i wasn't being mean, i genuinely think he's be better off in lower volatility investments.

There's massive asymmetry here; if my investment goes to zero i lose lots of money, but i get paid reasonably well and can afford to lose my entire investment without impacting my lifestyle. If it 10 bags over the next few years then it would be a very nice windfall.

" Coming weeks is not a month" - matter of opinion. you're basically saying that he was guaranteeing us an update in a period between 8 and 30 days....i think there was no promise of an update, just an implication that they'd hope or expect things to be sorted within a number of weeks....this is WSG and this is Africa, neither are renowned for their speed.

Shania: yes I am here every day. I have a job that consists of sitting at a computer all day with 3 screens, so I see the share movements in WSG continuously and can see this board regularly and comment on it. I have invested heavily and will be hugely pleased when/ if this thing performs.

If you actually read my posts you’d realise that I do anything but ramp this thing. In fact I get the opposite criticism more often.

I tend to have a go at rampers (ask DHC and investinvalue).

I just get suspicious when new names pop up, criticise the company yet don’t seem to know some seriously basic info about it.

I’ve been invtested in WSG and on this board for more than 7 years. 1280 posts isn’t all that many.

Unlike many here I don’t post on boards I’m not invested in.

I’m also highly sceptical of the idea that there is enough money in AIM to pay people to write on a BB when it doesn’t impact the share price.

Show me where WSG said they’d update us. I can’t remember them saying anything about updating us in September

Nice try chancer, but can you explain why people should listen to your opinion on WSG when you don’t appear to know that the port is already operating?

I’ll be livid if there’s another raise any time soon. They raised sit hat they could get the contract sorted which will obviously result in decent cash flow....really can’t see a need for a raise. They also have the boat but I’m not st all convinced they’ll get the offers they were talking about.

Only round lots this morning. To be fair that’s how I buy them, but I know a lot of equity guys tend to buy odd lots as done by cash value rather than share count.

People always overalyse the exact wording in ever RNS....it’s like it’s bloody Shakespeare. If something is happening in 5 weeks time I would’t say 1.25 months or in a month’s time. I’d talk in terms of weeks. “Coming weeks” certainly doesn’t mean it has to be under a month.

Implied a timeframe. So if we don’t hear before October then I would be expecting an update.....but as stated earlier this week, we had a comprehensive update in mid August interims which really wasn’t long ago.

Foxy: your interesting analogy is missing the fact that this is an Annonomous board and your opinion of a Ferrari is not going to impact other people’s choices to buy it....unless your mate is minted and also easily led.

I don’t believe that this BB has a real impact on price, but some people are stupid enough to buy or sell on the advice of a faceless stranger.....that’s why DHC expresses his “opinions” again and again and again....trying to suck in new people.

You can have an opinion if you don’t hold, and you can share it. In fact it would be good to have a more detatched view. but it seems odd to me to sign up to a BB, post very negative comments and then **** off.

I don’t post on shares that I don’t own....seems like a waste of my time.

I’m all for reasoned debate and I think I’ve made it clear that I have much more time for negative comments than wild ramping,....but it just seems odd to me how negative some people can be and either still hold, or have no economic interest in the share.

Foxy I get your point, but that’s why I’m confident of a specific date.

The implication from PF was that the whole port should be sorted and fully operational (and by implication all the various contracts signed) by the end of Q3. I do realise that an implication by PF isn’t worth the unicorn fart it was written on.....but the point being that I see a reason for the delay....the port not being porgansied enough to have contracts in place when they should have been. I haven’t seen anything that makes me think it will fall through.

Do we get paid for scanning cranes? ;-)

My, obviously inelligently posed, point was that MPS appear to have a whole port’s worth of contracts that needed to be sorted and they’re being particularly African about it all.....so things are taking time. I don’t see it as just the WSG contract being a sticking point. So for that reason I’m not worrying that the contract will fall through.

I do however see this as a company with a reasonable base of business that should provide some substance to the share price and this is the Cherry on top. I see the Africa and Iran deals as sormthing to think about in months/ years to come. Totally irrelevances for me for nkw
