Maybe. I would say on the CFO that to me it looks like he was pushed rather than jumped. Not least because they had someone lined up straight away to replace.

Could some of the bears out there explain to me what is new in this RNS that would lead someone to sell now but not in the last week or month?

i didn't think it was an amazing trading update, but i don't see why you;d sell today but not have already bailed?

i can sere why it's not flying (no thing concrete has changed since last update), but dropping 10% seems rude

that's how i started the heated debate last night....my opinion gets much more bearish if they can't convert this year.......but based on everything they've said and the sheer size of the contract (let alone the opportunity) i struggle to see why they wouldn't convert.

the older one's made it to 4 without a tingle night in our bed....he's currently favorite!

pleased with cash position, pleased that they are still guiding EBITDA positive (looks like Q2 will be a good un), take new CFO with a pinch of salt - they'd better not sell to PE, that will not let us realise full shareholder potential.

standing by the second MOU not being this year - changed from expecting to sign it this year, to "We continue to work towards..." - but when Iran lands who cares about this second MOU?

i'll still be annoyed if they do a placing to fund Iran - if you can't get a bank loan for a deal like that then there is something wrong with your management.

not convinced the shares will do all that much today, can't see why anyone would sell off the back of this though

Haha. Not bad. There have been better (by which I mean cleverer) insulting posts, but this certainly has merit. Chat to tosh for some tips. Oh and it’s just the The City (no big) Options and futures expire on different days (options first) And it’s closer to 540k, I’d love an extra 110 if you’re handing them out. Oh, and it’s an abolsutely massive portion of my portfolio...irresponsibly large. Wasn’t trying to show off about multitasking, if anything it’s a bad thing not being able to sit and just relax. You’re right, I don’t care what you think. I’m £50k down on this so reserve the right to be a little ****ed off after 6 years. I was cooking dinner. The wife was putting the kids down so I was checking my phone....I struggle not to do multiple things (need to be listening, watching, reading at all times). I spent the whole day looking at a Bloomberg screen, checking in on stocks and bonds after hours isn’t odd for me. I do love how this bored doesn’t change (as Tosh reminded us). Any kind of Criticism and you get attcked relentlessly. Check my posting m, I’m not negative on this share. And my “lie” about my holding has remained consistent.

Guys guys guys.....calm down. It was a a throw away comment “you'll probably get about 3p...”. I wasn’t predicting 3p. Jeeze. In my experience people only get so tetchy when they have some of their own concerns.

It’s not just Iran. But that’s been true for years. There has always been plenty in the pipeline.....just no delivery. I’m still hopeful that other MOUs will come, just not this year. I read the RNSs from around 2012/3 not long ago. They were incredibly positive too. Not trying to overly down on wsg. Still have over half a million shares here.....just getting tired on waiting.

Ok, maybe 3p is a tad excessive. But we got sub 6p pre the Iran LOI. And we hit sub 10p recently when the Iran deal was/is very close. So for not much movement in price we’re saying that the market has only a few pence priced in for the Iran contract. I think the current price vastly underestimates the likelihood of the Iran deal, but fear hay if it was dead there would be a lot of people selling no questions. Tosh. You can sometimes be funny and offensive. Sometimes just offensive. Sometimes just a ****

totally agree.....that's why i don't really see myself selling...once it's tanked on no Iran the shares will be next to worthless and then there will be nearly free optionality of the underlying business. if you want out then you'll probably get about 3p...seems pointless selling then.

come 2019 with nothing signed i will rethink, but realistically i'll stay in.

Don’t get me wrong. I’d rather we exchange letters on Iran and lose every other mou we have. I take your point, but what I mean is that I don’t trust management to deliver on that 2nd MOU guidance. And us getting the Iran sorted won’t change my opinion. I think at that point more potential MoUs will start to be priced in, but I don’t think they are more likely. I am moving towards feeling this is a binary play on Iran. I used to think the underlying business had potential. I’m not sure I do any more

Yes, they have been saying 2 contracts all year.....I just suspect that will miss the second MOU conversion target for 2018. TEchnicallythey’ve signed Iran, but I don’t thinks worth the paper it’s written on if they can’t get the letters exchanged whilst the sanctions are still in place.

I suspect that we’ll either get “we still expect to sign another contract this year” or “ “ I think they’ll still be claiming that it will be his year.....:but I don’t think it will be this year. I suspect that they hope the Iran dealwill happen and distract people.

trump loves to back track...go in hard, then suddenly change and say you're friends and claim it as a victory...that won't work with Iran and the populous is so anti American/Trump...and pretty anti their own government too.

I agree that the sanctions are staying whilst Trumpy stays, so i feel that if WSG can't work it out by year end it ain't happening. if what they said was true before about being outside sanctions then they really should be pushing this deal....even if it compromises other deals...this is properly game changing for them.

i also agree that we aren't going to get much out of these interims....unless they've made great strides with the vehicle scanner contract and can confidently predict EBITDA profit by year end....which i doubt.

happy to hold and still fairly confident, but if this Christmas isn't even happier than last Christmas then i may have to reconsider my position.

That’s pretty positive. Never a fan of trusting state run media, but don’t see much incentive for the Chinese to lie/embellish on this one. It does actually feel like things are coming together.....plenty of time a new spanner in the works still
