There has been heavy dilution here so you can generally take shareprice with a pinch of salt. Market cap is a much more accurate indicator of where we are. There have been a lot of promises and false dawns over the years. I’m quietly confident that this time it’s different.....but an atrocious history of delivering on promises is a big reason for current share price

my take is that they will not be EBITDA positive at year end because of the impacts of major contracts (i.e. the Iran one, which granted isn't "new" per se.
i can't see them being EBITDA positive for half year - you have to bear in mind that the large scanner deal (c$4m) will be a big part of this and that's spread out over the year and into next - so I assume more back loaded.

Mike: i agree with you, it should be EBITDA positive (or at least bloody close). but i can't remember a time when WSG's results didn't disappoint me vs expectations. there always seem to be be some extra costs or some oddly low revenue. i also think that if they were EBITDA positive they'd have guided that previously in an attempt to lift the share price prior to fund raising.

i'm still pretty confident that this will come through (not as confident as my holding would imply!) but the last raise really put he in a funk. not about eh dilution, just the timing. made me think we were a while off good news.

no it couldn't because codes in dealing are not a real thing.

imagine how many voices are going to pop out of the woodwork if they announce the exchange of letters!

i don't see us being EBITDA positive yet, but i agree that it's not important in terms of share price as it's hanging on the Iran deal.
sadly i'm not convinced that we'll see much progress on Iran. i'm sure it will be spun as positive, and they'll list a few things that are sorted and that just a few points are still to be finalised......but i don't see what they can say that will shift the share price other than the letters have been exchanged, anything short of that is just jam tomorrow.

don't want to be negative, but as has been the case for the past couple of years....if there is something seriously positive to release then it should have been done beforehand. can't see them waiting for their trading update to exchange letters.

raised £24m over 8 years......but what's that a proportion of what we're worth? oh wait, market cap is only £13m :-(

i do feel sorry for management with Ebola,.....but two things that they have been atrocious at were managing market expectation and timings of capital raises......oh, and the ship...don't get me started on the ship

i've always struggled with odd numbered trades...since i started this in my teens i've always done round numbers, looks messy to have odd numbers (OCD???). i'm more of a bond guys and that's how they work too. only odd numbers i ever trade are when i've lost a few shares through BED and ISA or Bed and SIPP....that winds me up too!

what do odd number sells indicate?

didn't the article say that the security services has said they didn't approve of WSG.....rather than the whole deal being sunk?

either way, i don't think they'll RNS when MOUs fall through, unless they've previously told us more details about them - since they've kept quiet on specifics for a year now, i suspect we won't hear a thing.

market clearly doesn't think Iran is happening any time soon.

i suspect we'll be in a funk until some pick up running into the 21st update and then sell off again until real news

i wrote this one off as soon as the "bribery" claims came out. couldn't believe that PF could be so naive.....mental.
i thought about selling down at the time as it reflected so poorly on management judgement.

i'm still not holding by breath for any additional MOU this year.

if they announce the Iran deal in the next couple of weeks then after I've finished running round the office doing a celebratory jig, i'll be emailing PF to say thank you and also "why the **** did you raise money at the end of August at 10p? please tell me it was all above board as we don't want anything to get in the way of this share flying".

basically i'm saying i don;t see much going on.

or that they could flog it straight away for a 5-10% profit in one day!

it opened over 12% down on zero trades......so the fact that it's up from there is on the back of more buys than sells i guess.

can't see it ending up today....a placing in this situation cannot be deemed good news

if the contract were announced on Monday i'd be seriously suspicious as to who the people were that bought in at 10p today and what their connection is to the company.

not pedantic...there's quite a differenece between them. anticipated is even more vague than expected.

i think people overestimate how much "evidence" nomads demand before green lighting an RNS. very few facts were written in this RNS, just the fact that news shares were being issued and the numbers. everything else is fluffy

i think it's fairly loose language.....and they can easily argue that they expect it to happen....that's in no way providing a guarantee.

i'm pretty sure they can get away with "expecting it" right up to point when it's RNS'd that it's fallen through

seems to me that either the Iran letter exchange is going to be at least a month away, or the BoD simply don't know when it will be, or they wanted to get some mates in cheap (but i hope they're better than that).

they could raise money at a huge multiple of this if they did it post Iran contract.....still looks like a Q4 event to me

he was saying 90% and 9/10 are the same. he was comparing them to 10-1 from his previous post.

but the market clearly disagrees as this is nowhere near 90% priced in.....i'd argue it's closer to 5% priced in
