Spartan have a new brand new mill & own 100%
So not a good comparison
GGP have no milk and only own 30% ( also don’t have control of the project )
So many better opportunities on the ASX than over priced GGP. That’s why they have listed there
GGP seems to have an inverse correlation to the GOLD price at the moment. Now in the 5’s
Where is Paddy and Bamps? Pump, pump. More satellite pics and analysis guys
Maybe the sell off is concerns about a hugely discounted capital raise on the ASX. Who know how discounted they will go? If they go? At least their salaries don’t get discounted after equity raise, only the equity holders ( directors share options can get reissued and cash salaries come every month).
At some point this is worth a punt, but at what price?
GGP still looks expensive when valued at AUD$1.9 bn on 100% basis. Slightly more than gold road who own 50% of producing tier1 mine Gruyère and own 20% De Grey ( and a $150m in cash, and generating loads more cash as unhedged). Or look at Bellevue or De Grey about $2.3bn and they are both 100% in control . No way GGP should be valued at current price ( shortly there should be a premium for control and a discount for only holding a minority share )
Worth a look at the field, the other runners and riders are doing well. A non controlling interest in an exploration/development project is always going to be risky, especially if they have no money ….. this is going down for a reason while everything else is going up. It’s not by chance.
Yes, quite noticeable his absence. I also don’t see paddy posting. Probably lying low as they have clearly been pushing people to back the wrong horse. At least they got the gold sector right. Many gold stocks have doubled or significantly up and the rally is only just getting going, so still time to switch horse. ( maybe that’s where Bamps has gone - checking out the other horses in the field )
Northern star looking at telfer if they bid for de grey. They have been seen there on a site visit
