Maybe he is waiting for the delayed results before bidding …..my guess is they are really bad which is why they don’t release them. Not sure how long they can go without releasing the results, maybe picking up a fine is preferable to tanking the SP and letting MA in the back door.

I’m sure the rich list is out of date, especially with a volatile share price (down). Even so I’m sure they have a bob or two squirrelled away….i doubt enough to fend off big Mike. The sons certainly seem to live the high life, so maybe the double whammy of getting poorer from the collapse in SP and heavy spending. If big Mike gets his way then they might well ge a cheque for their remaining stake…….lets watch how this plays out

I just had a look at the website of Cora gold, the ‘son of hummingbird’ in Mali. I was of the understanding that hum had a stake, it appears they must have sold it as they aren’t listed as a shareholder ( only a load of former hummingbird staff ). Maybe they give Betts a job. Whatever happed to the controversal bunker hill investment, sold that as well?

MA raising funds is confirmation to me that he will go for the kill sooner rather than later. I’m surprised Kamanis aren’t buying like mad on market as defence. I read MK only has 12% worth £45M….maybe the champagne lifestyle is catching up. I read the son spent £20m on his wedding, his 3% stake is probably worth £10m now. Do they have much cash left outside their shareholding? I doubt they have much time left to save themselves….the wolves are coming
