I may be wrong, but as I recall the board currently have no ability to dilute our share holding. The RNS needs to be read in full, but I imagine some people bought into the fantasy posts of "Elon Musk invests here" and now that isn't the case are panic selling. This was never a get rich quick company (LTH's know only too well!). Have the fundamentals of what is owned by the company changed? Think not.

Welshy69 - just to remind newbies, if the LTH top at the moment we are averaging UP - being so far underwater will bring our average purchase price up not down.

sounds like you want to be in here to make a fast buck - take a look at the posting history of some of the posters, been here a LONG time and probably way more underwater than you. With the recent news, this particular share is now (imho) turning a corner, but it's not a race. because so many people do want to make a fast buck it makes the price rather volatile on lots of low priced shares.

Bluenosekro - yes, as far as I know, correct - your CGT liability is your overall gain - but that's all academic when you are so underwater - I have nothing else I'm likely to sell at a capital gain!

well, he's obviously keen - small amounts to us, BUT it could see lots of small amounts coming in here - which is all to the good. HOPEFULLY no fingers burnt this time round! I've just "bed and isa"'d my original investment - be nice to see that as a necessary !!!

ISA allows you to invest up to a limit in cash each year. And ANY profits are free of CGT. Trading account, any profits for the year over CGT allowance are subject to CGT.

Some of us have been invested for a LONG time and 1p would finally see a small return on our investments - so we may well want to sell at 1p! I'd almost certainly sell my trading account shares, giving my ISA ones a chance to improve. Remember, everyone has their own view and indeed need for cash.

should also mention, long term holders will probably not be able to find the investment date as (if my account is anything to go by) it only shows trades against the current ticker.

I doubt that, but the practicalities of a re-listing would , I suggest, put this into the new tax year automatically- it has to go before a meeting of shareholders I believe, and I'm sure there are timescales in place for that - which pretty much guarantees nothing till next tax year.

all I know is what has been entered on here - and I'm happy with that - I haven't troubled the board, being content to wait for an announcement - after all, there is nothing I can do till we relist or whatever! If we are waiting for FCA or similar (as was posted on here some time back) we are in their hands and their timescales.

My crystal ball is broken - but once relisted, the price will be whatever people are happy to buy/sell at - it's how markets work!

Just to remind new investors here, LTH are still (if my example is anything to go by) underwater by some way. HOPEFULLY this situation is changing soon, but it could also trigger some large sells for those investors who decide that as they get back to parity it's the time to get out .

Usually manages to find something to post in an RNS to bring the price crashing down! Fingers crossed the tide really has turned and he doesn't do it this time!

Rooblertwo - those of us who have money tied up here are all in the same boat. We've all be clinging on to hope, and the information we have had has helped us to keep that faith. People can only judge others on what they see or hear - and in the case of this board, what they read. Take a look at your previous posts, it may explain the current reaction to your latest post. HOPEFULLY though this will indeed come good. The world sure needs a bit of good at the moment, and I imagine may investors here are more in need of a positive outcome than they were when we went into this with the effects of Covid on personal finances.
