It would have to fall 0.0001-0.0002 before it reached those levels
It’s fallen 0.0003 in the last 10 days. Those levels are fast approaching, and I mean fast
How Naheed will steady the share price, and add value to it in the near future is an enormously significant question i hope which will be answered at the Q&A
Would a consolidation or Reverse split be on the cards here?
I've never been involved in a share where the price is this low, what happens if, god forbid, it drops below 0.0001?
100>1 Split which would take the SIC from 4.7Billion > 47 Million, but then take the share price to the 2p-3p mark?
I've seen similar splits in the American market on numerous stocks I've held, but never over here, could it help when it comes to the next Placings?
They’re all relevant LW - but number one especially. It’s the near term turmoil that’s surrounding this share, and for me, it’s always been the opposite. It’s been the hope and optimism that Green Hydrogen is moving fast that’s kept me going, but you can only spin this so much until you need the fundamental details (DFS and funding)
Finally get a timeline and the 2 points on lending and financial close, which I was hoping to be sooner, have been spread out over the next couple of years, with the rest remaining vague
Even if we receive the DFS results, as and when, at least it can give investors something to bite into, and look forward to.
The more I think about it, I think we’re in for a very intriguing Q&A, one I think Naheed will struggle to hide from
The Quarter update seems to take place at the end of the following month, so if Q3 finished in September, we should hear it at the end of this month. A lot of questions coming her way, time for a game of "Naheed Bingo"
If there's no news between now and then, I kind of don't want to hear it anymore and how "She's a shareholder too" because it's got past the point where i think she has any Conscience or Guilt regarding the share price.
Contrary to belief, you can actually Develop a project, and the share price reacts positively, not declines 95%
With the rate of the last dilution, current cash burn, and Financial close at least 14-15 months away minimum, something needs to give LW. Sell Block 6, do anything, lets see what Naheed can say in the mean time
Would this rule out any deal being struck next month during Cop28 - I was basing this happening with a more aggressive timeline on financing but that certainly wont be in place, and who commits to a binding offtake agreement without the project actually being financed? (As always, happy to be proven wrong - just my thoughts)
2024 - Negotiations with lenders and investors
2025 - Financial Close
Indicates the answer to what we've been asking, Funding and financial security on the GHP is some way off as it stands
Timelines are helpful, if stuck to and from what i can see, meet expectations of a project on this scale, but just how much will the share price suffer until that point?
I believe it will be a genuine project, and one that will transform this company
I started out investing in companies like ECR & ORR, exploration companies with dreams of building a resource and mine, and promises of endless riches. I moved into GCAT afterwards, a company with existing infrastructure, and operating mine and soon found that the grass wasn’t always much greener (cutting out the middle man)
I like following the development of projects from start to finish. And if this one in particular pulls off, it will certainly be the most rewarding. That’s the risk/reward, that’s the gamble. Will this happen, YES/NO and currently I sat on YES, with no evidence to suggest it won’t happen, but plenty of questions which still need answering.
Crazy isn't it LW - If i had waited until now to buy instead of back then, I'd have over 120,000,000 shares. But thats hindsight and after watching the recent RNS, it doesn't exactly scream "Come and throw your money here". But i am glad to be invested like i am, and will want more, just need to time it better
Yeah no problem. CAPEX is a big one here. $2B, could be more now, could be less but that's the ball park. If something costs you $2,000,000,000 to build, you'd imagine the revenue involved should far outweigh this. Something the Financial feasibility of the project should demonstrate, and if it doesn't, well it isn't worth continuing with.
It's a very, nice thought as an investor, especially from £1m. Will significant dilution, and raising £5m over 24-36 months, be outweighed by a % retention long term in the project. You'd imagine 100% yes
But as "investors", you really need the full details of the project, or what the company know this far, to continue with your investment, or to buy more. It's nice buying into a dream, but making it a reality is a whole different ball game. We need: Reports, Financial backing, terms and conditions and much more, and then and only then will you really see movement here
"we are now looking toward the next stage in the project's development as we move forward with detailed technical and financial feasibilities. "
zan, naheeds words above so financial studies will be ongoing, and will need to be complete before funding is secured so its still part of the process.
in terms of cop28, one of our mou's read as:
"the uae's state-owned emirates global aluminium (ega) is looking to the ****stan project to help it decarbonise its processes.
under an memorandum of understanding signed last march, ega would take almost all (50,000 tonnes) of oracle energy's targeted annual output of 55,000 tonnes from the plant. a deal is expected to be announced during cop28"
now some time has passed, if the company have their ducks in order and get a deal signed, then there's a lot of work happening behind the scenes which we haven't been informed about. that said, it would definitely be welcomed at the same time
LW - isn’t CET’s feasibility study due for completion in Q4? And from the little what we’ve heard so far, they look like clear contenders to be one of the funding partners in this development, so I couldn’t say for definite what will come first
The next dilution, if I’m honest at an estimated guess, looks more favourable doesn’t it. Especially when you have to factor in the completion of the next studies, the design phase, and THEN, “ and formulation of the investment and lender consortium” as stated in the RNS
On a personal note, il be waiting a little longer for more top ups. I’m certainly not selling up, that’s out of the equation. I’m in this for the long haul, for better or worse but I believe our 30% (current 30%) of the JV will still highly reward shareholders long term. Delays, missed targets, not securing funding in the future would change that.
Binksy - it’s quite cynical but I wouldn’t rule anything out at this stage. Like I said yesterday, seeing an enormous director purchase now would really infuriate me further knowing they knew the placing price, and investors are already 50-60% down on their investments made only 10 days ago
In terms of returns, this now ranges from:
- ripping your betting slip up, cursing it and losing evening
To
- 200 X, if they secure a deal on GH, Solar and THAR. From a £1m MCAP, it isn’t beyond the realms of possibility when you consider all 3 are, or could be Multi Billikn £ entities.
But confidence is now. Investors don’t know what’s coming next and seem a little in the dark until we hear more, so as it stands, who knows.
Thought we’d have heard something, I don’t know exactly what but the share price is hurting, shareholders are hurting, and hoping I’m undeniably wrong, but I can see the price going a lot lower than this.
It was already sinking but that kind of discounted placement has just possibly wiped out 2-3 months of a slow and steady decline. They’ve fast tracked the decline. And there’s a purpose because they needed the funding but if anything, it’s surely really underlined to ALL shareholders that unless we get financing and offtake agreements within 8-12 weeks, the share price will be lower than shark sh*t
I wouldn’t give this 100/1, because that implies an enormous implication of blind luck on the day and I think that’s slightly unfair. The GHP is progressing so far from the little we know, but measures need to be taken in the near future so we actually have a company that can take this forward.
I understand your reply Hippo, and like you, I’m a long term holder, in the belief that we’ll be a developer of projects that will come to life. I try and remain optimistic but yeah I think yesterday has knocked a lot of people for 6. Although the signs have been there for a long time with the downward slope in share price and shareholder confidence.
It was a shocking raise yesterday, it seemed almost desperate with those conditions, can you imagine what It would be like next time ? We can be heading towards 6-7 billion shares
Whether it’s COP28, funding, offtake agreements, let’s hope the tide turns and finally benefits us in a way that boosts morale, valuation in the company and long term belief that this could be a major player.
It would be interesting to see what developments have emerged behind the scenes with the Solar Project. With very limited funds, how far can this be progressed without a JV or backing.
A share scheme or purchase from the Directors for me would kind of Rub salt in the wounds. I mean these things aren't even Ten a Penny anymore. Not even 20 a Penny, and although them buying shares hasn't been a priority for me, for them to wait and wait, and know the Share price will be decimated at the shareholders expense, and THEN buy, that wouldn't go down well. Unless it's truly substantial
We need funding, backing and offtake agreements. Anything else until that point wont have any affect on that Share price, or my confidence in the company
and i agree LW, i made the point last week about the Company, and the need to communicate this to existing and new investors alike, to demonstrate what you're actually investing your money into. We seem to be ticking small boxes without knowing whats coming next
Until all Feasibility reports are completed, in every aspect, there won’t be any offtake agreements announced here
Until the financial feasibility study is completed, CETs study and the Green Hydrogen Project is fully backed and financed, what company would enter into an offtake agreement without finalising these first?
All that said, there’s nothing to say that between now and then, these won’t be sorted. The time, and news between now and COP28 will give you a better indication if anything will be signed.
Cop28 could potentially be another huge turning point in this companies journey if we do get something over the line
Until the progress stalls on Green Hydrogen, or we begin to miss targets and milestones, I'm fully invested. Post Feasibility study "should" be a very exciting time for the company and shareholders alike, but its really down to Naheed to deliver now
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/ORCP/green-hydrogen-agreement-signing-ceremony-y9a74dtdp782wfn.html
Since the signing Ceremony in October 2021 for Green Hydrogen, this is down 93.4% in less than 2 years. My other shares have suffered in that time frame, some have gone up, but nothing, and i mean nothing like this. Market conditions for me is a small factor within this, and more to do investors confidence in Naheed, or the lack of it. Yesterdays announcement factored this in, even more. Investors have had enough.
It's true, you're only at a LOSS once you've actually sold, but try and use that Analogy to comfort someone who put £20K into this a couple of months back, and now they're sat on £6k, and falling. All stocks are a gamble, but you'd like to think the Company would deliver on its responsibility to protect the shareholders, and their interests
I will be buying more, i want to get my average down and accumulate and believe this has given me the opportunity to do so, but there's no two ways about it, I'm prepared for very rocky waters ahead, batten down the hatches and be prepared and i hope all current shareholders have the same outlook. Support them through the rough times and benefit on the other side. GLA
