I come on with some researched quotes from the RNS showing a slightly different narrative and suggest perhaps sand is no longer the issue and fix.

You log on to basically agree yet start calling me an oilfield illiterate.

Just to add… perhaps the sand screen is indeed still the fix but the company aren’t able / willing to fund it. I have previously mentioned it might not be prudent to commit what I suspect is a significant % of cash on a fix without a deal to sell.

Yes Abzzba I shared that very RNS yday. But also the more recent one which didn’t reference a sand screen and instead said

So my point is perhaps the sand screen you keep mentioning isn’t going to be the fix anymore, as by March they were still weighing up the options. It certainly explains why it’s not been done yet.

But yes, good spot the sandscreens were at least mentioned in the AGM, so thanks for sharing that (I had asked about it yday). Again the context was them being one of the options being considered. It doesn’t need to be a big argument, it seems you now accept POSSIBLY thats no longer the issue. So we should perhaps stop talking with certainty about it, and certainly the impact in terms of production uplift. Your figures are such a wide range btw!

And Billy, I think discussing the main operational plan for the year is very fair and valid. Just like when Abzzba discusses it. What’s the difference, you prefer the made up figures? I don’t recall much analysis from you buddy, certainly nothing constructive or researched.

Surprised in a way that nobody else has spotted the lack of a mention of a sand screen in the most recent RNS or AGM.

Might explain why this apparently super quick and easy fix hasn’t been fixed. Although the figures quoted are completely fabricated in any case as the company haven’t ever quoted any of those.

Yeah as I’ve already told the board and proved by announcing my sell before it was printed, I owned 517,553 shares and took a haircut on that of over £4k.

Along with Asiamet my worst ever investment.

Obviously I’ve got the option to buy them all back for a decent % less than I sold them for, as I have for probably 99% of the time since I sold. I feel a bit unlucky Heron 2 failed with an 80% chance of success as that’s what really cooked everyone here. Needless to say that RNS was described positively by most on here as the SP BOMBED.

Whether or not you like and / or believe it I hope to make money buying back here in the future, hence the “forensic analysis” as you described it (as an insult!) when again acting like a brat on the Thx board before your comments were rightly scrubbed as entirely disruptive. I’m not being deceitful or trying to talk the share down, I’m being entirely honest in my appraisal - which I readily concede might be wrong. The problem is more money is needed and there’s no business model beyond trying to find a partner. IF they get one it’ll fly, IF they don’t it’s close to game over imo because there’s no money to fund more wells. I also think there material concerns about how easy the oil can be extracted from Heron but I’ll take a punt at the right price. MB seemed to confirm this when saying they don’t want to take a punt on Heron 3 (they want someone else to). My thesis is a partner wants to see H1 improved before getting involved and possibly more info from H2 etc. Who wouldn’t?

Fortunately Ive had a very good year elsewhere but learning all the time. This share has helped me in that regard.

Hamm is fairly unique, too dim to be anything other than harmless - his recent transition to AI spokesperson has been amusing.

Investor is a tough read because he completely changes his position and attitude if you don’t agree with his self styled charting guru status. I suspect he’s telling the truth when he tells us he’s been here for 6 years and is well down. But it’s May next week which I believe is one of the 12 months of the year he’s told us the SP will rise, so perhaps he’ll get the exit he craves.

Are all genuine holders who bought at the wrong time expecting massive riches and are now trapped / desperate. Hence unable to rationally discuss things. Not a single inch given on a single point - eg Proquos tragic attempts to claim the sales deal isn’t taking longer than expected. The ceo himself called it “long overdue” a month ago and still he tries to argue it. St least his presence ensures we won’t miss a minor tick up on the share price, price of oil or that there’s such a thing as Friday fomo. Not today there’s not with the massive 7 trades. :)

I suspect Doc, Jimi and Wigster are genuine holders frustrated with the situation and thus express this, along with their fears, uncertainties and doubts. As anyone mature enough to consider risks should. They don’t sell because they either don’t want to crystallise their paper losses and / or retain some hope. We’ve all held shares like that, it’s perfectly fair. I still hold Asiamet despite being adamant they’ll be no future beyond a takeover.

If / when the PC sales agreement is signed I say it’ll be great news for MATD and that will be reflected in the SP.

To those who (reasonably) speculate the delay is because of JV / Heron field sale talks, how will you feel that the delay was seemingly instead just because PC couldn’t be bothered to find a pen?

This is interesting because the January RNs was quite explicit about this work, the more recent update much less so.

As we know, I’m no expert but it sounds like the sandscreen might not be the required remediation?

Caveat - I dont recall if it was mentioned in the AGM in which case I’d be grateful for a timestamp.

The company guidance - which told us it was being targeted for October, then expected in February and now we’re in a position where it’s over 3 months since it was agreed to simply be signed, ie yes the negotiations and Mongolian approvals might take some time but a signature?!

If you don’t think that’s odd or a long time that’s fine, other are allowed to disagree. The delays might be due to a bigger deal being arranged, that’s a credible explanation imo.

The fact here is price sensitive information need to be released in a timely manner as Doc shared.

The opinions are whether a deal to sell oil, described as the “prime financial priority” by the CEO (timestamp 15m at the AGM) is a material event.

I say it would be because and id anticipate a material (10% MIMINUM) uplift in the share price.

If WOS doesn’t think it’s price sensitive or material he’s entitled to his view. I wonder what news he’s waiting for that will be more impactful in the short term, noting he expects a 12 bagger within several months….

Yesterday investor came on and out of nowhere attacked me and Doc. He labelled me as ADHD - I’m not crying I’ve labelled people autistic myself.

What I’ve not done is attack someone out of the blue and then express outrage when they reply (like I’m doing her to the latest attack).
