Best timeframe would obviously be January as December is no longer achievable. Best guess is harder. PetroChina has missed every payment deadline so far. The shortest delay on the 3 week payment terms that they put in the contract was 3 weeks, so double their own estimate. The only prediction we can really make is “longer than we think” but tangible progress has been made“

From that answer you’ve deduced a 95% probability that the contract terms get agreed, drafted, signed and paid in January. I find that extremely unlikely for all the reasons given and the CEOs own words.

But that’s the beauty of these boards we’re all allowed our own opinion. We’ll find out soon enough too..

If you mean we’ll get confirmation of having received the arbitrarily withheld $850k from PC, I definitely disagree.

I think it’s exceptional unlikely they agree the wording, sign it and pay it within 4 weeks. That’s based on their form to date and that even MB implied February was more likely. And he also warned they always take longer than expected.

The refinery getting built is a definite positive to MATD. But it doesn’t appear to be motivating those with deep enough pockets to fund BlockXX development.

I suspect part of the issue is the current route to market is only via a customer (PC) who don’t pay on time or in full. Objectively, that’s a big negative to a potential partner.

When the refinery is up and running Abzzba claimed it’ll save us £12 per barrel in costs although he was unwilling to/ unable to explain this. On the otherhand MB said he didn’t know what the costs of getting our oil to the refinery would be. My understanding is Mongolia gets first refusal on the oil but I don’t know how that’s priced?

It appears Proquo wants a deal asap, but he’s also equally happy with a raise doubling the shares in issue.

Anyway, good to see the lessons from last year when he spent day after mocking even the possibility of a raise have been learned. Then he had to lie low for months pretending he’d gone on holiday. Lovely!

If I understood it correctly, the entity in advanced discussions want us to be the operator. I take that to mean we continue to rely on PC to provide the route to market.

That’ll make for an interesting risk assessment on the due diligence!

Given what riches are apparently awaiting a farm in partner, it is curious he’d need to be pushing the hard sell. But it does indeed sound like he’s having to push it, given of the 3 entities interested, 1 pulled out and only 1 of the remaining 3 has done their due diligence.

They’re all the same Doc. They start the personal stuff if anyone questions any of the nonsense claims and then get upset when they get some back.

I was just asking when you think PC will pay. As a quick reminder they spent years negotiating a contract, finally agreeing the terms in January. It took 3 months to physically sign it and as soon as payment was due they decided they weren’t happy and asked us to get confirmation of their tax obligations. We got that in September but they’ve not agreed the tax that is due yet. In a tax dispute that would be handy.

People like Abzzba told us the contract would be renegotiated, signed and paid by November. He’s entitled to his opinion. People like me expressed some healthy caution that PC would suddenly start acting the opposite way to everything they’ve done to date. I know you don’t like it it people like me are also entitled to our views. And it appears my analysis is once again more accurate. It’s (partly) why I didn’t average down at 1.45p.
