@bantham I agree there’s a lack of a documented plan to make this a commercial success. There’s no doubt they’ve struggled to make inroads which is reflected in a repeated trading update downgrades. It’s hard to have any confidence in this years projection which then shortens the runway. As you say, the bigger worry than a raise is a failed raise, hence I’d prefer the former.
Hopefully we get some deal dominoes lined up!
I’m at the stage where I’m almost now hoping it is a placing. If it’s not then what else explains the price action and we’ll almost certainly need one at some point this year. At least it would give clarity.
@miavoce - surely a board like this is entirely for giving opinions on the position and prospects? And in this case the opinions seem based on the lack of any commercially significant deals being announced?
@bantham I’m with you that RNS was worthless and it worries me that’s all they’ve got to tell us. The BBC article is helpful in terms of raising the profile of liquid biopsies which is ultimately what we need, ie a step change in the treatment.
From the very little I know about charting, we might get some technical interest as the gap from January has now filled and support was found at 13. Hopefully that’s the bottom in and we can move onwards, hopefully also fuelled by some meaningful RNS progress.
I think we’re in a race against time to get our tech commercially adopted before the money runs out. I wonder what they tell job applicants for the several positions they appears to be recruiting for?
As an aside TGTD complaining about someone spamming the board has made me laugh :)
Morning Sandy
Some good posts yday, thanks. TG2D is indeed also the other obsessive (Bone699) on ADVFN. They don’t engage beyond repeating their same point and certainly can’t answer why they’re here. It seems they might be a bitter ex employee which would make sense.
Back to AGL. The science does sound really promising but the lack of commercial progress does worry me. I’m not confident in this years revenue prediction which would in turn shrink the cash runway and make a placing probably imminent. That’s never good in the short term. So I really want to see some RNS deals. It’s a high risk high reward stock for me.

Desperate times is when you create 2 profiles across 2 sites, pretend they’re not both you, pretend you’re invested , pretend you’re not actually just a sad bitter ex employee who was sacked. You don’t even do it with any subtlety or intelligence - no wonder they sacked you.
Happy Mothers Day tho, hopefully the feral kids you’ve given up on looking because of this obsession after are treating you. :)
@EC Yes that’s a good / fair summary. I think the issue / concern I have is the lack of commercial interest so far. Ultimately no matter how good the science we need to get some deals in, hopefully it’s just taking time. I’m also concerned about the extent to which the cash runway is based upon much increased revenue - because if it is and we aren’t quite hitting those numbers the runway shrinks. I do think a raise will be required, not that that is a huge issue in isolation. Definitely feels we’re overdue a RNS so hopefully this week brings some good news as we know it will shoot right up if something of note is announced.
@Emerald (all 6ft 2in gym guru of you)
Can you articulate the business plan here? How much turnover is expected this year / next year etc. Profit? EPS?
Morning Bones699 aka Toogood
I see you’re up early once again banging the funding drum for a company you claimed to be a LTH in. Is that still the case? Or are you really here because you were sacked by the company and have nothing better to do than campaign against a company who are trying to help cancer patients?
Even if I lose money here I’ll take solace in the fact my life is evidently infinitely better than yours. Hopefully both the SP and your prospects improve from here. Certainly lots of value to the upside!
To see in black and white £52m sliding back into the bank is pretty incredible given the MCAP.
The results on the 19th are taking us well beyond previous highs and I wouldn’t be surprised if we get there before after today’s news.
Marvellous! And a big thank you to the regular posters on here, it’s by far the best message board I’ve come across.
Thanks Daniscp for sharing those volumes.
I only bought in on Monday but having reflected on the fact they’ve got so many more to sell I’ve sold out as there’s a guaranteed downward pressure for a while yet. At it explains the low price but I don’t see much imminent material inbound news to counter it. Good luck holders - I’ll be back if it’s still low closer to drilling.
Someone on twitter has found this. It appears the rumours around a large seller were corrected.
It’s dated 30th January and they were already selling at that point. Hopefully they’ve already dumped most of them but they were a large holder so perhaps not

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Yes I’ve read about that (although you explained it much clearer!) but does that explain why the figure is less is January as that hedging was also the case at the point of the previous update?
Wondering if someone could help me please…
The 23 January 2024 RNS stated
“Strong net cash position of £31.9m as at 31 December”
But the 26 Sep 2023 RNS stated
“strong cash position of £36.6m”.
I’m assuming it’s an accounting thing but why is the cash figure down?
