It’s not, because they haven’t (to our knowledge) received any revenue for Gazelle yet. When they do, it might be close to covering costs depending on how much oil is produced (also unknown), the company overheads (also unknown), whether the purchaser pays in full and the price of oil.

Anyway, I don’t know what the Rio RNS you’re expecting is to be honest (I don’t follow renewables closely). Withheld payment RNS I wouldn’t call due but that’s subjective. Likewise a farm kit deal - the one you told us would happen last year, so I guess it’s overdue to you. But as you say if you’re happy to wait and not in a rush no worries.

350bopd current production isn’t the truth lads. Nor are the claims MB said the missing money will be paid in January!

The withheld payment just undermines the business model, but I agree it’ll most likely be fixed as some point. I suspect they’ll then be another issue but let’s see.

Having re read the last 2 Gazelle updates I think the biggest short term risk is the water issue - the one they explicitly said they were trying to avoid by only producing 200bopd.

The more you assert 350bopd, the more disappointed the people you’re trying to deceive will be.

The latest confirmed figure for H1 was 135-145 (continuing its decline).

Gazelle was initially on at 200bopd - with an explanation that

“Well performance will be closely monitored to determine if this rate can be increased. Since the distance of the well from the oil water contact within the trap is not known, a conservative approach is being taken on start up to reduce the chance of early water breakthrough”

A month later, guess what - they had water issues.

“some water during production has been seen along with a higher wax content than we see in the Heron-1 oil. Rate tests are in hand to determine how best to optimise oil production and minimise water encroachment“

The idea they’ve increased it from 200bopd after finding water seems unlikely. But then I don’t claim to have spent my working life in an oilfield.

Yes gazelle will probably make the company broadly tread water, but only if we get paid for gazelles oil. As it’s unclear whether a single penny has been received for Gazelles oil I’m saying there hasn’t been 1 break even month yet.

Even when we are paid as things stand we don’t know what is being produced.

I largely agree Abzzba, it’s not hugely significant so long as they continue to pay the 70% then cash flow / treading water should just about be ok.

I’m not expecting a material update on the farm in proposal, the enthusiasm seemed to be more on our side.

Very keen to hear the latest production figures though. You’ve repeatedly asserted it’s 350bopd - I’m going to guesstimate it’s circa 20% lower that, something like 280bopd.
