Mal I ask you a question of whether you’d take 3p. If you don’t want to answer you don’t have to. I could just as easily have said 2.20p (double the MCAP) but I picked 3p. I think most would sell for that, it’s a huge uplift on the SP. Given YOU sold for what half that you must at least understand the logic?

If I was PC when would I start? I’d buy the whole company if I was them and wanted BlockXX. Would you as a shareholder be happy / accept lets say a 3p offer, Mal?

Going back to of PC (or anyone with deep pockets takes it) I wouldn’t then go with with 50 in year one id drill a few and see what results came back. My assumption is the more they drill the more they find out about the geology.

I have a suspicion/ theory that the further south the less prospective the field is, but that’s not based on alot other than H1 being further North / near the PC field.

This time a year ago it was 200-300bopd with hopes for much much more. Abzzba insisted it’d do multiples with a sandscreen.

Which infact turned out to be a smokescreen as H1 production nearly HALVED. At which point the company and the ramping liars tell us that was expected and it’s still one of the best wells. Which tells us everything.

Any new or potential investors should take note that Warrior is the latest reincarnation of a poster called WiseOwlSpeaks. He’s probably on his 10th alias, presumably because he keeps getting banned for breaking site rules.

He’s been making these incessant ramping posts for years. He said the same things when the SP was 5p, 4p, 3p, 2p etc etc.

He almost certainly being incentivised for his efforts here. Alternatively, if I’m wrong, he’s just a terribly unsuccessful private investor. There’s never any balance, everything is spun as a positive.

Either way he’s not to be trusted or believed.

This is a loss making business and will be until unless they get a very deep pocketed partner to farm in and fund more wells. That’s unlikely to happen in time for this years drilling so it’s another loss making year. There is also material uncertainty about the ability of the Heron field to produce commercially successful wells. That’s probably why there is only 1 potential partner who have got as far as due diligence.

Not sure you’ve ever picked Tenbag, WOS et al, Abzzba Proquo etc etc up on any of their company related posts Thorn. In fact you told us you made an investment decision based on WOS’ posts :)

Maybe. Altho given we’ve been told at length this weekend how desperate Mongolia is for oil, why would they prefer a cash strapped explorer to an existing producer with the means to progress it? And why would they now allow a farm in from the entity they apparently don’t want to be involved?

Either way, doesn’t bode well for WOS contention that PC are now going to take over Block XX

Ha they already have a cooperation agreement as well as a commercial contract. They choose to stick 2 fingers upto the latter.

An MOU that wasn’t deemed a material price sensitive development doesn’t tell us much. Hence it was just a tweet.

PC are not the entity who have carried out due diligence and I can’t see them being one of the other 2 entities because I can’t see them wanting to be a farm in partner.

If their motivation is geopolitical developments and securing oil for China then I don’t really understand why supplying another state (Mongolia) would make them want to buy in.

As you said business is business so if they do want block xx then imo hey’ll be looking at our MCAP and weighing up how cheaply they could grab the lot. And that will NOT be for $150-200m Proquo claims.

What makes you say they’re capable of drilling 100 wells a year btw? 100 wells will probably include circa 50 dusters won’t it.

I don’t know what you think is going to change / happen between PC and MATD (and why) but it’s clear you can’t / won’t answer that so we may as well move on.

When you say your core holding, I thought you’d essentially sold and kept some as a free carry - is that what you mean by core holding?
