ValJu - Believe me mate, I sincerely hope I am wrong! I'd love somebody to come up with anything remotely like a reason to invest here. We all know that if we weren't already in too deep here we would check this company out and stay well away. It is poison. I just want to salvage something here but most are in denial.

I think they are a victim of their own arrogance. They think they can just hash together some rubbish and dangle the carrot and expect another bottomless pit of cash. Unfortunately, the well is running dry and their credibility is shot. They probably only have one more raise in them and then they are done so they better make it a good one and enjoy it. I really don't know why there isn't more support to oust one of them to give them a royal boot up the behind. That might make them understand that they are answerable to the shareholders.

What ever happened to Align? Not that I ever trusted them, they were clearly self serving from the start. However, how could the BOD have made that go away?

Its not about the glass being half full or half empty. Neither my or your outlook will change things here. A "party" doesn't automatically mean there are 6 different pharma companies vying for 401. Valirx, Valiseek, Seek, Mystic, Tangent and a regulatory body. There is 6 "bodies" for you. Can you work a decent deal out of that? These guys know how to spin their words while covering themselves. Just because you have assumed that there are multiple interested parties doesn't mean that VAL have said that via RNS. Teflon George.

I am very cautious of anybody that tries to defend the performance of this BOD but a poster who uses superfluous punctuation automatically sets off my moron alarm.

I just think its harmful to ignore the multitude of issues. My frustration lies in the fact that this could be fantastic for shareholders and stakeholders alike. I remain invested in spite of the BOD. I originally liked the science and it was what kept me here but I am now starting to doubt that too given the fact the BOD don't seem to want to talk about it in detail. They keep telling us that there are so many interested parties but it always comes back to the usual suspects. When they suggested that Wanderley is independent it filled me with dread. This seems to reaffirm my thoughts that genuine outsiders aren't interested. Therefore... Its taking Mystic a long time to tie up this deal for 401 ;)

If I had amazing results I would be screaming them from the top of my lungs trying to capture a slice of a multi-billion dollar market. You don't keep things like this quiet in the hope that somebody stumbles across it.

I've never known scientists to shy away from facts and figures as much as these guys. Surely they, more than most, understand that the market is evidence based also. Therefore... Some evidence would be nice guys.

I just think its really easy to blame the MMs. People do it across the boards on here and it always reminds me of ancient civilizations that thought things like thunder happen because you anger the gods. This SP isn't falling because of those naughty MMs although that would be a nice simplistic explanation that everybody could understand.

The RNS basically states that Satu is happy because her mate has cast his eye over the trial and thinks it might have done something. I wonder if the BOD would like that approach to their salary? "GM: How much are you going to pay me!? Shareholders: I am delighted to confirm that you will be paid a sum which will have a positive and desired effect on your bank account. GM: Okay, but how much? I obviously need to know what my salary is! Shareholders: Not nice is it?" Basically, we need some figures here or the market will (rightly) assume that they are talking out of their arses.

Wow this is painful. Hopefully it can be a wake up call for the BOD. Their wishy washy vague pumping RNSs don't wash anymore. Put up or shut up.

I suppose its quite comforting that, in an ever changing world, we have the safety blanket that VAL are still in talks with potential partners looking to fill their pipeline. The only thing I see is GM & Co filling his own pipeline with our dosh.

It looks like my words of caution yesterday were warranted. It is almost as if you can look at the previous performance of the company to be able to accurately project how it will perform in the future? News to most.
