For Dr Wanderley to be considered "independent" is borderline, wouldn't you agree? A very small amount of research aligns him with Tangent Reprofiling and SEEK. Whilst probably legally considered "independent" he seems more like a Valirx bedfellow than anything else.

I can't see why it wouldn't be positive but delay always makes me a bit nervous. It suggests to me that there is something to hide so they have gone to ground. However, there has been delays throughout this process to date and it keeps moving forward.

I don't think anybody can criticize on a day where the SP has jumped nearly 40%. However, my previous criticism still stands. Lets hope this has turned a corner. Its easy to backslap on a good day. I remember putting my concerns to Tarquin about 6 months ago. He didn't reply for days but chose a day when the SP rose 30% to suggest all was rosy. The SP was about 3.5p or 4p at the time. Now here we are down in the 1ps. One day performance doesn't mean we are out of the woods so don't be arrogant and make the same mistake Tarquin made.

Didn't this happen a couple of days ago? Followed by a red day that cancelled out the rise? When you collectively comment on a slight movement in SP you all remind me of the aliens in Toy Story... "ooooooooh!"

I'm not trying to convert anybody. I genuinely couldn't care less if you bankrupt yourself to be honest as, like you say, you are just a poster on the board and I don't know you from Adam. I just fail to understand have you can have such a weird attitude to investing. Are you now trying to say that you haven't been parted with your money? The BOD took that from you long ago mate and unfortunately its looking increasingly likely that you won't ever see it again. Same with my own investment here, so at least we have one thing in common.

And you don't think the negative posts are a reflection of the mess this is in? I just fail to see how somebody can be so overjoyed with pissing money up the wall. if I am ever on the BOD of a listed company you will be the first one invited to take part in the IPO. Imagine being so terrible at what you do and having the full support of your shareholders? They have played a blinder. Nothing will change if you continue to bend over.

Also... I'm tired of hearing that it reached 70p. Do you recall the Mcap at the time? Given the confetti placings that have taken place since then, do you realise what the Mcap would have to be to reach 70p again? How many times does it have to be pointed out.

ValJu - You and a few others seem to have a problem with anybody stating anything negative here. We have vastly differing opinions on who is doing the harm here and I would suggest it is shareholders like you. Addressing concerns and criticizing a BOD who have presided over a decimation of shareholder value and who are showing a clear inability and/or unwillingness to interact with shareholders or create any kind of value is NOT what is doing harm. What is doing harm is the people who allow it to continue simply because they have their head in the clouds and think that this will miraculously become $5 a share without suitable stewardship.

I don't think the word "shortly" helped matters much. I suspect this will be anything other than shortly to be honest. It will come eventually but I timed my entry wrong here. I got too carried away with the whole thing and could have been in for a penny cheaper. Long term, this is a good thing. We just need to know how serious Ruyi are treating this deal given that it is pocket change to them. Are they really that bothered and if so, is there any urgency?

This seems like a genuine bargain opportunity. Just think about the SP in 5 years time. If it is anywhere near 20p then it will have been a disaster. The chances are we will be talking pounds rather than pence which means that anybody buying at today's price will no doubt have their feet up on a beach in 5 years.

I am very pleasantly surprised that the SP has held so well for so long considering there is very little in terms of news/progress. It seems like most people's perception is that the concession will be granted or this would be through the floor. It is just turning into the longest waiting game ever!

I am in one prolonged state of disappointment so it doesn't really matter too much when I expect news. A 401 deal coupled with a 201 positive update surely isn't too much to ask for. I'd happily accept another placing if we got these two bits of news.

Looks like yesterday's rise was just the latest letdown. There has to be news before the end of the month.

But should it though? The deal has been in the offing for over a year. Why should we expect things to suddenly be on time now?

A one million bagger? That would be nice. Most people would nearly break even if that was the case!
