The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
You clearly mis-read my note - I never hoped to sell in the hope that I could buy back cheaper - I have been through that process enough in the last decade to never want to do it again.
No need to be a nasty troll, I simply expressed my concern.
Not de-ramping, just very worried.
4p ?
15p by 2026 ?!!? Id have thought that’s a lame target considering PM suggested that we could be anything up to 70p and he would expect an exit before 2026. Seems all that’s left to do is hope!
I have been selling but I intend to buy back in towards the end of the year when I’m sure the SP will remain around these levels…

Well their PR team is also asleep then, because I just got the email today…
Smart Eye to Deliver AIS Driver Monitoring System to World’s Largest Gas Transporter
We are very excited to announce that Smart Eye has signed a breakthrough deal with Linde – the world’s largest industrial gas company!
This marks the first time AIS, our hardware and software driver monitoring system for fleets, will be delivered to a major heavy vehicle fleet for aftermarket implementation. Following a long and thorough evaluation and testing process, Linde Gas has chosen AIS to prevent human injury, reduce financial losses and improve overall safety in their trucks.
This new contract is not just a significant breakthrough for Smart Eye but an important step towards reducing road accidents and saving lives.
@wiseinvestoruk - did ChatGPT therefore tell you to invest in SEE ? If you are a PI for a living, why do you only have 7 posts ? LTH’s like myself are not hanging around for 3x money back in 3 years, we are wanting this to be a 5-10 bagger. Hopefully there will be a TO so we don’t need to hang around much longer in this depressing stock.
Even though the entire stock market is not doing well - it’s not just SEE - I too would like a TO so that we can draw a line under this and move on to hopefully more fruitful investment decisions. I am mentally exhausted thinking about this share!
Scrolled through ten pages from Google search and found not a single mention of this Stifel tech presentation - only a few notes about some healthcare presentation. Wondering why we are working with them when they can’t even mention it on their own website ?
Could anyone please post the text because I can’t subscribe to the article ? Thanks
This is still a very long term investment, isn’t it? The SP seems unlikely to make any material progress for many months if not years (24/25 whenever BE may be achieved) and sadly it seems more and more likely that even when it does, it may only ever achieve double what it is. As a LTH I expect much much more than that if I am expected to commit more years to this, and so I’m trying to weigh up my options and decide if I should sell half of my entire holding and invest elsewhere…
Thanks for the clarity, Oz.
After a decade in this share, I very much hope that I can exit for significantly more than 24p. I do not want to imagine spending yet another 5-10 years of my life reading, posting and sending messages on this chat board, hoping that “one day soon” this will happen. It is exhausting. I’m grateful for those that do because it furnishes me and everyone with such valuable information, and mentally keeps me going and invested, but it sure takes a lot of patience!!
Why was this presentation removed and by whom ? SEE? That's quite a big suggestion to add a zero to the share price in 2 years! Did people see the article on Yahoo which suggested this share could reach $24.99 ??!!! They had a massive spread though which started at 10p so perhaps it' just dreaming.. whichever, I just wish it would happen in MAX 2 years
Knowledgeable and optimistic presentation yet again. How exciting! Well done Team SEE.
The only part I don’t like is the part at the end when PM mentions that Collins think in terms of decades, and it took a while for SEE to start thinking similarly….
I have already been invested in SEE for a decade - I don’t wish to be for another one!
Surely if people were actively “buy, buy, buying” then the SP would go up
This Company was admitted on 11th October 2021 and regulations state that SPAC companies have only 18-24 months to identify + complete a merger with their target company. Surely something must be happening that we are yet to be made aware of by now ? There are only 5 months left before this timeframe is complete, in which case - as the post below indicates - will it all amount to nothing ????
70p although 7p doesn’t even feel achievable right now. Is it feasible to think that in these market conditions, the SP could realistically reach 70p by end 2024 as PM suggested?
I wonder if the SP continues to stagnate over the next 6-12 months, the board would be tempted to agree a cheap TO at sub 20p? Let’s hope not…
Wow - you really did SeeThePotential, well done!!
