No one knows how hard or easy it is to manage Bt from a ceo stand point or how to compare it to other ftse 100 ceo jobs. So why are people talking like they know here?

Jansen has a contract til 2026. I would doubt he is going to leave early. If you guys believe it, that would indicate the upcoming end of year results are anticipated to be bad.

I firmly believe the figures will be good. He has a contract to 2026 and we are on a long term build and cost saving strategy.

The articles rumouring his departure are careful with their wording, they don’t say he is leaving soon or sooner than his contract end date. So it’s speculation and a story

The results will be good, horrible Phil will stay and we carry on with the build, cost save and divi progression.

Yes dividends should. The dividend policy is progressive with a view to replacing the progression leading up to the cancellation at 15p in 2019

I bought some a few weeks ago at 625 which was my only badly timed buy

I’m not a trader. I see a SP I like and I buy and accumulate. I will not sell shares , I will just bed and isa my shares outside of isa into it. I fully anticipate dividend progression as per company policy and so will be looking forward to 14p a year dividends again in a few years.

Please take a look at the dividend history of Bt prior to their cancellation in 2019.

Progressed from 7p to 15p from 2011/12 until their cancellation in 2019. I expect the same progress and no future fibre to install like last time.

UK plc doesn’t want to be taken over. Authorities have prevented that in many industry , even kwarteng was opposed to Bt take over ..

Current lgen price does not warrant a buy in my opinion. I already hold . If lgen were to drop back to say 220p range in future I would top up, or would sell at 300p. Anything in between is irrelevant except contemplating divi reinvestment.
