I was told patch leads in fibre build have been offered voluntary redundancy with a deadline to go by end of December.

There are 15 engineers per patch lead , the reasoning for the packages to leave is the intention to move engineers from fibre build to FND fibre network delivery teams.

Overtime has also been greatly reduced across the board.

Many engineers are on 3 and 5 year contracts which end around 2026-2028 also.
