if you look at my 11.45 post you'll see that I'd shut the subject down as far as I was concerned but Crumbs came back (his 12.13) with some further thoughts and I replied to him.
Not only that but I hope the last two paragraphs of my final part of my 14.04 was conciliatory and again showed as final. Since you asked me a direct question in your 14.52 I have replied, so really I think you have been instrumental in stretching what I thought was a finished subject to yet another post.
I am in agreement with you, I think the subject is finished, but four posts ago! I don't really want to post on it again.

Please don't take this the wrong way but again you've turned a reply to me (Mostly) into all the resons why there should (or might be) news in the near future. I do appreciate your reference to 10p though!
It's also interesting that you mentioned you didn't "rec" violindogs post last week but IMO you are saying in your 12.13 much that he did in his! Again an observation not a criticsm.
My original post was about what might happen should the news everyone expects sooner rather than later doesn't materialise soon! LOL
So as i've said I understand that people may not want to look at the downside but what happened originally is that my first post had been used to reiterate (dare I say) the confirmation bias that often shows itself on this BB. Having said that it is possible that I sometimes display such bias on the cup half empty side. It has been a delight to be able to have these exchanges today, and it is great that I think we can both see a little of each other's viewpoint. i believe that this shows it is possible to have a discussion which neither side completely agrees with the other but both views are heard and discussed.
Thanks for that discussion.
BTW I still hope that we get the news we hope for, but (for me) it's great to consider what might happen should the gameplan not work exactly as expected.

I'm not saying there will not be any news, I was wondering whether anyone had thought about what be the result should there not be any.
Like everyone (it seems) here I hope we will get info, but that wasn't what I was asking about.
Anyway as far as I'm concerned there's nothing more to say on this so back to the waiting game.
So, as before, "Fingers crossed!".

Thanks to those who replied in this thread. My point was more what people felt the effect of no further news for a month would be. Since nobody has taken up that point (although all seem to reinforce the point that there will be news) I'll take it that the idea of looking at the less likely outcomes of situations don't play a part for most who post here.
That is not a problem I was just interested to see whether there were any ideas.

Take your points over the hope (or likelihood) of news in June, the last month of H1 this year.
Your post prompted me to wonder what if we don't get news in June?
Do we think that we can rely on the support for the SharePrice at 20p or should we resign ourselves to a lower base?
It seems a reasonable question in that those who know Scancell intimately over recent years must have that "Niggle" rather than "Wiggle" in the back of their minds.
I raise this simply because it's the other side of the coin set out in your 08.37. I'm sure you wouldn't subscribe to the idea that the newsflow is guaranteed for June? If that is the considered view then fine, but maybe it sets expectations to levels that we've seen before (and we all know what happens if they're unfulfilled).
In conclusion I would add I hope that you are right, but it might be worth considering what might be the case should the news blackout remain for another four weeks. Maybe some would say that such a situation would never happen, but as we all know there's no certainties in this market sector. Possibly worth considering the "worst case" given that most seem to be convinced that there will be news soon. The (almost) guaranteed case?.
if people want to bury this post, that's OK, but i do think the postion is worth a thought even if it's not publicly acknowledged (which I think it really should be).
Then if we get the news great, but if not it's not a complete surprise.

Whilst i think that more information would be great (frustration setting in again LOL) having thought again I reckon that the two major IIs have the situation pretty well nailed up!
Vulpes and Redmile are here as investors not anyone trying to run the company to Commercialisation. I wonder where they see a good exit point?
That's probably the key.
With what to me looks like a combined holding (subject to conversion of outstanding CLNs) they have in excess of 50% of the company, so that leaves the PIs free to do what they like. In a numbers game I don't think we count. Add the other II Calculus into the mix and we pale into insignificance.
So No, on balance personally I don't think the concept of a "Shareholder rep" is in any way a starter.
Still wish we could get an update though! :-)

Thanks for coming back on that. I guess it would be tricky though stopping PIs from taking a slice at 65p!!! But I understand your logic.
Don't forget though that Redmile and Vulpes are in the gme as investors and with Vulpes' holding of 14.5 pct and Redmiles (with converted CLNs actually in excess of 40%) there's plenty of stock for the big boys.
I take your point but there's an F of a lot of Loose stock once our IIs targets are met.
I'm sure Neither Vulpes nor Redmile want to be involved in taking Scancell's platforms through trials to S3.
Anyway just a few thoughts....

LL the CLNs that Redmile hold grants them the opportunity to acquire more shares. They have not excercised them as yet to preclude the compulsory offer that we all know they would have to make.
Thus Redmile have a potential (But achieveable) holding well in excess of 29.7%. I used 40% as an approximation (I haven't the time to check precisely but i will IDC).
However you look at it we have a holder who can wield a great deal of voting power should they so wish.

Why the damper?
Surely those who have invested lately are equally be interested in informatiom from the company as well as those who've held for years.
Don't forget that Violindog is an LTH so I think that view that Investors deserve information are recent investors doesn't hold much water.
OT
I see that the shareholders in HUR are trying to nail their BOD down in the courts where challenges to any information the BOD were putting out as a matter of course might have forced a different outcome if Shareholders had been in possession of full information on a more timely basis. (BTW I'm not lumping SCLP BOD into the same pit as HUR).
So in conclusion I suspect that most would be interested in updates here irrespective of how long they have held shares.

It seems likely that There is a time horizon on Scancell's quest to get all of the IP underway to commercialisation and it's already shrinking rapidly.
There is also a n Investor who holds in excess of 40% of the equity.
Also be careful what you wish for.
Have a think about who might be put forward for the Shareholder "rep".
I would prefer to get the Companly to provide information direct to all via regular updates (and let's be honest there will be many threads to update if the trials start sooner rather than later).
I would prefer to have to hold the BOD to account rather than a shareholder who might well narrow down the focus of "updates" to their own group's interests.
FWIW I wish that Scancell would just get on and advise the updates. Let's be honest if there's nothing to report WTF is going on?
