Yes I maybe misread your view.
We've ha d a great deal of requests for the BOD to increase (and upgrade the quality) of the PR over the years. Obviously that would be useful and would also have a knock on on the SharePrice should it be successful.
BUT, I think that we as a company are now subject to different forces on the Shareprice, hence the relative stability we've seen.
After Redmile arrive I mentioned several times that believed that Scancell had become more an investment than a speculation and I stand by that. As it has become (IMO) an investment the Shareprice volatiliy/volume is likely (as has been seen ) to change substantially from what LTHs have become used to as well as the ranges in which the price sits becoming more obvious (and hopefully) on a rising rather than falling pattern.
So I agree with you that the PR could still see room for improvement, but I wonder whether the need has diminished given the timeframe that Scancell has set itself with our main IIs? I'm not so sure its quite as important as it was, but I could easily be wrong.

I take your point fully, but do you think that a rise in the SCLP Share price is warranted (or maybe I should say Wanted) at the moment.
The Share price has been remarkably steady over the last few months (without news) and even when there's a straw in the wind (such as the RNS last week) the price soon reverts to a little higher maybe but certainly back inside the range.
Scancell is no longer at the mercy of the wider market. Any perceived plus or minus "news" could in the past have seen the Share price easily shifted by even a determined group with a few shares. Now things are different.
I think the Share price will be allowed to move when it is considered the right time. In the meantime let's bask in the (relative) warmth of the incredible range in which we find ourselves.
I would say that when we do get the really important news in RNS form then I believe we will be allowed some upward movement in the SP, at least I hope so.

Won't argue with that but they have been aims that haven't been achieved so far.
Like you I hope they are achieved, I am in no way suggesting they won't be.
I was also trying to make the point that an RNS would have been helpful.
Otherwise monetising the platforms is an aspiration which looks achievable with the resources that Vulpes and Redmile have provided.

Since that is clearly a "what if" post with which you agree (you didn't criticise that) I thought it reasonable to write my 15.46.
I must say you do have a very selective memory when it comes to supporting other posters against those you seek to
criticise.
So maybe it would be helpful if you try and avoid policing the BB but should you do so a smidgeon of evenhandedness would be appreciated.

The problem is that the Scancell way has so far failed to get to the "striking a deal" stage.
I take it your comments relate to the idea of adjusting the Company's structure with a view to raising more funds?

I do agree with you that there are sufficient funds in place ATM and with a deadline of Oct 2022 there seems little point in subdividing all three platforms now or even trying to raise more funds apart from specifics (maybe for new Products -Heaven forbid!).
Having said that, if there was a desire to ringfence one part of the company for the provision of facilities to hive off that part to a subsidiary in the event of a sale of the connected platform/platforms then the recently discovered sub would make sense.
It will be useful to see the RNS which we will eventually get to clarify the as yet unexplained step taken will be much more helpful than dealing in "What Ifs" when we have no idea in the present.
It is this sort of conjecture which a timely RNS would have prevented.

Think you'll find they are trades not dealt on LSE (London Stock Exchange) and being block reported through LSE off exchange price capturing systems.

Just a question,
If you have moved on from "what ifs" and live in the now, why do you relentlessly try and tell us when the next RNS will hit and that the next trading day will be "Blue"?
To me living in the Now is awaiting patiently the news and analysing and distilling the effect that that announcement is likely to have on the SP. Calling when the next milestone will arrive is futile IMO.
Having said that I do believe that the scenario I mentioned is a very good reason for Companies to be prompt and straightforward with announcements particularly as it would have been a convenient way for Scancell to progress in a more finacially lubricated way post Moditope discovery (fictionally speaking). It was also meant to demonstrate in extreme terms why Timely and Full disclosure protects everybody.
Finally don't forget the reason I picked up on the point was because you were taking DE's History and using it to congratulate him.
I was taking history (Fictionally reinvented/revisited - or whatever the term is today) to make my point about disclosure which is what Konar was posting about in the NOW!
Hope that explains my post, even though you see it as nitpicking (fussy or pedantic fault-finding). Not sure it is .

When the company had only Immunobody and were expecting to sellout by (Late?) 2013 there was no significant Capital problem. A basic pair of trials and then sell Scancell.
Then Moditope came along. Here's a question. What if Moditope hadn't been RNS'd in (Aug?) 2012?
Things might have been radically different.
The BOD certainly seemed to have made a timely announcement to their shareholders then.
The problem with making that RNS was that from that day forward it became a problem for cashflow.
Maybe if that announcement had not been made in a timely way the discovery could have fallen into another company (which could have raised capital for Moditope on its own). Now if you held back THAT discovery RNS there wouldn't have been half the problems to cope with post 2012. DE was instrumental in keeping Scancell together (rather than hiving Moditope off on its own). Who knows what would have happened if Immunobody was the only asset that SCLP shareholders would now have with LD working for two companies? We certainly wouldn't have three platforms to hope for success in Scancell and anyone without the resources to buy shares in a second company might have been left out in the cold vis a vis Moditope.
Purely looking a bit backwards and seeing what might have happened should corners be cut or info witheld.
I like the idea of full and immediate disclosure. Seemingly as does DE.

PS I should say that I don't believe any such idea ever crossed the BODs mind in the case of Moditope (but it could have done if we were writing a novel).
I guess that's why you announce stuff ASAP. Keeps the BOD safe and above criticism and stops the Shareholders coming up with weird ideas about announcements.

I completely agree with your first paragraph but the second and third seem to be a little at odds with it.

Firstly (taking your third para I don't believe for one minute that he's trying to encourage a selloff.
He may be telling us that his position is taken not simply because iof the timing or lack of an RNS but because he FUNDAMENTALLY disagrees with the way that the BOD has conducted the initial process for what appears to be the embryonic signs of a significant move in the Company's direction and process towards a strategy that none of us on BBs can yet know about.
Also I do take issue with the idea that he is/was trying to engineer a selloff. Anyone reading his posts on the other forum will see that he equates his divestment with the BODs path to any news we might recieve not the news itself.
To me anyone with Principles that would be strong enough to sell a personal holding because of a disagreement in the manner in which a BOD is moving (rather than the likely results of the outcome) simply underlines the individual's
Inherent existing wealth (IE not requiring to compromise his commercial beliefs in the quest for profit) and commercial probity. -

If I am correct in those assumptions above (and it's a completely personal view derived from DE's posts (and previous actions in publicising the company) which makes me feel that he is not acting in any way that suggests he wants a bloodbath in the Company's Share Price. In that connection I also believe that from my own belief in where we are with Investors ATM it seems unlikely that even a substantial and intentionally badly managed unilateral "Selloff" would seriously affect the SP given the way things have panned out over the last (almost news free) few months.
So no Konar, I can't agree with your view that he was trying to encourage a selloff. If he'd wanted to do that he could easily have sold through the market in badly managed tranches, said nothing to anybody (including the BOD with whom i think he collectively disagrees rather than personally hates) and sat back and watched the bloodbath before the heavyweights weighed into rescue the mess that might have been created.
I take my hat off to anyone who is prepared to put their heart on their sleeve such as has DE.
Whatever anyone says about him he was (and to a degree still is) a major influence in how Scancell has turned out from float to today.
I may be completely wrong in evrything I've posted above, but there's only one person who can correct it and he doesn't post here.

Maybe, just maybe, if there's an interest in keeping the SharePrice as quiet as possible it wouldn't be too difficult to achieve at the moment.
It's not just on the upside that the SP has been kept back, what about the support we've seen over the last few months when there was not much to keep the 19p base.?
As anyone who has been a Scancell shareholder knows long periods of no news would (before V and RM) arrived have resulted in substantial drops. A sense of proportion is I think how we need to consider movements. We've been protected from the falls, I just hope that the rises will be allowed to run when conditions are right.
I could be completely wrong, but Scancell feels very different from the outfit that first grabbed attention getting on for ten years ago.
