hasiba made an incorrect statement, I responded to it, he didn't feel the need to reply yet you have come back and tried to obfuscate by saying that Vulpes have a large holding.
You make a statement of the obvious.
Do you think that Hasiba's comment as I quoted was correct or incorrect?
Your answer to that would be more useful than you trying to muddy the waters and try to turn black to white.

in case the origin of hasiba's comment has been lost here is the quote from his post that made me look twice,

The statement was factually incorrect, that was all.

Info is freely avaailable and is irrelevant to my point. It was made simply because hasiba had stated that none of our IIs had sold any and that Vulpes had actually increased.
This was factually incorrect and so in fairness to hasiba I pointed it out.
I'm sure hasiba would have come back if he felt I was wrong and he was correct.

I have checked and Since February Vulpes have sold over 2M shares and have only bought back about four hundred thousand to date.
Maybe we can get some more director dealing RNS soon?

I believe Vulpes did sell some and they are simply buying back. i'm not sure they've increased their holdings over those they had at their peak .
I might be wrong but I believe my statement to be correct.

Hasiba, sorry should have posted my last on thia thread, so I'll set out the specific bit in reply to your 10.47 here.

I should have added that i have near and med supports at 19 and 16.9 so differ a little from your price points.
Won't disagree with your 11.20 too much but the levels are wider than you suggested. I wanted to publicise that should the 18p level crack, we would not want people to panic should your comment that,
" The floor is 18p lowest it can go at any day close from here…just imo
18p is the third support level which will be very hard to break…"

It's great that we can discuss differences of opinion in a civilised way, appreciate the exchanges.

Anyway good to see you were prepared to agree that Knowlesi called the market well since Feb. Wish I had had that conviction as well.

Maybe, but it would have saved many of the leading LTHs at least GBP20K and one (if not more) at least GBP250K (or maybe more) since the highs. Have to say I was surprised to see your under 22p prediction at May end come to pass, but I guess that's what a long aquaintance with Scancell might logically suggest.
We all know however that the first decent bit of news should be well received in the SP so I wait patiently, but a little disappointed we haven't been treated to any news recently.
Back to the wait, but well done in your (most unlikely to have been fulfilled) prediction of 18p or so.

Not certain that you are interpreting Scancell's balance sheet quite as it should be.
The cash is not from retentions from earnings so the health you imply is not as secure as might be suggested.

Crumbs are you saying that at the time of application Scancell's bid was too Commercially orientated, or it was considered too commercially orientated after Scancell's bid failed?
I certainly don't believe that between the time of application and before the announcement of failure that there were any leading "experts" on LSE who envisiged anything but success. There were cautionary voices but they seemed to be in a (virtually silenced) minority from memory.
However it finished it was never anything but a dead cert to win for all the LSE leading lights.

The grand Challenge was a means of fundraising and was championed on LSE as effectively a GBP20M (or share of ) injection to Scancell's coffers at a time they desperately needed funds. As a result it became much more important to scancell than as you described it.
It was portrayed on LSE as almost Guaranteed for success and when it wasn't successful the excitement that had been whipped up evaporated and the Share Price demonstrated corresponding weakness.
Irrespective of any "knock on" benefits from any collaborations forged it was not helpful to have had expectations built upon the sand it evidently was.
Similarly any future announcements of funding applications would almost certainly be seized upon as being almost (if not) certain (because of the perceived "world beatingness" of Scancell's science) much as has been the case for the Cepi possibilities, and so I would prefer to have announcements of successful applications rather than simply applications.
Of course i want the Cepi situation to bear fruit, but frankly I'd rather have the announcement of success in black and white rather than read endless reasons as to why it can't fail and allowing more and more pre event hype that still might not be fulfilled as has been demonstrated so effectively in the past..
I know that Grand Challenge was (slightly) different but the principle of overegged expections remains pertinent and it was still hailed on LSE as being a new source of badly needed funding.

I think that's what it was called. That was a slam dunk ..... until it wasn't...
I think the trouble with advising attempts to raise funding lies not with the company (IMO it SHOULD advise) but the way that uninformed comment was made about the earlier Grand Challenge leads me to believe the Company SHOULD NOT release the information until success or otherwise is known.
The problem lies not in the Company's info stream but in the way it might be misinterpreted by people who predict success without the knowledge to support such predictions.
