I think you have found something that resonates with most here.
Although there have been puddles of requests for more info over the years, I think yours is timeley in that we have;_
The Cash
The Investors (Vulpes and Redmile)
The Platforms
The Governmnent Grant
The area in which the Covid terapies are significant
The SP rerate since 2020
The liklihood (I hope) of at least three trials to commence within (well who knows?).
Plus probably others which have been missed in the list above.
Although we have had calls for Info in the past what we have now has never been in place in the past.
With the new investments and potential products I believe it is disingenuous of Scancell not to keep an information flow to (as Violindog suggests) the company's loyal investor base.
Otherwise the BOD leaves itself open to reasonable criticism.
I believe now is the time for Scancell to "Open up" to those who own the company.
Thankyou again Violindog for highlighting what so many of the silent majority here really feel!!!

Having reread my last it might appear I'm criticising your observations.
Actually i'm not , but maybe being a little pedantic.
Basically we can all hope you are right and then we will hopefully have some more info to discuss constructively!

Chester, certainly not in any way disparaging your calculations, but surely the principal determinant of your hypotheses is whether scancell actually do deliver on timelines? Since they have historically not done so maybe a calculation on the the likelihood of their fulfilling their targets would be an overiding consideration, and then ASSUMING they will your figures come into play.

They're Off Exchange deals and are being reported as deals done elsewhere.
I've no idea what they are but maybe they're Live system test deals from a subscriber?
If they were multi tens of thousands I'd be more suspicious.
Anyway, just my two penn'th. :-)

It is an Off Exchange deal, so wouldn't worry too much about the price. Probably made up of some of the 100K blocks duringthe day. Shares shifting between? Who knows?

Lightheartedly, how do you think those shareholders not in the "Group" would feel about fellow holders being treated to "inside information" when the "Group's" claim to ownership of the company was no stronger than any individual holder bar a collective percentage value?
The group would need to be open to all shareholders and so would return you to the insider information rules we all know.
Now a shareholders "Ginger Group" is a different matter, but even so would still probably not be able to outvote the main shareholders and would agian only be as powerful as their comulative shareholdings with any extra "inside" info being an unlikely benefit.
Interesting idea though...

If Roses is seeing what I am then there is no apparent demand for Scancell shares that makes the MMs bid the price up. Equally there seems to be no massive attempts to sell shares by existing investors.
However there may well be some who are prepared to keep the Shareprice supported at current levels and who will also make shares available as the price improves.
If there is a concerted effort to smooth the Scancell share price then it explains the very tight spread and the trading patterns that have been in evidence for many weeks now.
I have noticed that in the last few weeks that the market has been far from illiquid, and if we take the present situation given the relative stability in the Shareprice I would not say it is illiquid now. Go back a couple of years (had the SP been at 21/24p) level that it would not be a steady as it has been over the last week or so with the news that has been circulating.
If you want to sell shares it is possible, but maybe not as easily as hitting the "auto" button.
A couple of years back, in my view, the SP would have collapsed in the current market scenario.
That adds to my view since last year that Scancell has now become an investment (still not risk free) but now rather more than a complete punt.

Couldn't agree more with your article posted, but I really don't think that there was ever an (immediate) threat to IP re anything other than Covid (ignoring the fact that there will be overlaps with other areas from which Covid therapies might be derived). Even if the IP Waiver were to be taken up. Obviously Scancell would have initially been cushioned to some degree from that situation (or not been as severely affected) should all investors have understood Covid Vax are effectively secondary to the main platforms under development. I'm not sure all investors will (or want to) understand that.
Interesting point that we have yet to understand is whether Scancell woulod make Covidity and the next generation Vax available "At Cost".

I still believe that there will be some attempts for Governments to link with Pharma in maybe funding research for Covid type problems in the future where maybe there will be some cost sharing (much as that which has happened already).. Maybe Tax breaks for shaing specific IP might be considered. That would be particularly helpful in the Nations' "Altruistic" race to "save the World" which in itself might not be quite as straightforward as it at first appears!
But that's politics for you!

I don't. Why? Because it allows the US to appear to be assisting the Global Pandemic BUT when putting forward an "alternative answer" to the conumdrum he can appease the Pharma supporters by being "Creative" and thinking outside the box thus bolstering the altruism of the US whilst maintaining support for an important area of the Economy. Not only that but if advanced successfully ( a big IF) it could allow enhanced Global influencing as a magnanimous policy towards supplying poorer countries with a supply of at cost or FOC humanitarian "aid".
This is one very big issue with much to play for on the Global influence stage. And the good bit? Played carefully it could be a great way for the US (and allied influencers) to advance interests in areas which are being infiltrated by powers with aspirations which may not fit with all.

Looking at things Covid Vax in isolation distorts the Pharma picture massively.
Bit of a problem really when you think that for everyone to be safe we NEED to vaccinate the globe.

The Patent waiver proposal isn't a new thing its been around since last year.
Remember the the great conspiracy theory that says that Pharma won't let "cures" see the light of day?
Well, they have let a control come into the sunlight. Maybe the lure of boosters and a continuing need.
Will a cure be allowed to surface?
IF and only IF Pharma decide that for the survival of humans on a gloval basis from a regularly mutating virus there might be At Cost (and on top of that Government funded production and distribution of Covid vaccine) what do we think the next stage will be?
As to Scancell in isolation. People who research properly know that we are not simply a Covid Company (not neccessarily those who bought in on the Covidity and subsequent Pandemic related announcements). So I suggest many do not. we have no non Covid products in trial and haven't had for years. We have the platforms and (relatively speaking lots of money). But no Trials. As mentioned earlier on this BB we are seen by some as a Covid play .... but no trial in place. We alo seem to be being supported/lidded SP wise in the last few weeks.
So in US Covid knee jerk, Big Pharma recover rapidly.
In Scancell, small retrace held within range and await news that actually relates to what we're doing (IE Cancer therapies - with possible knock ons as we go).
Surprises me that anyone pays much attention to the short term negatives thrown up by Patent waiver this week. Longer term though the pharmaceutical industry faces bigger issues which will be driven by this Pandemic, and I believe it will be Politically driven. Obviously and historically there's a great deal of Political Mileage in controlling the production and distribution of drugs. Checkout China particularly. Disease and therapy control equals power.
Covid has a great deal to answer for on many levels. It also provides opportunities for clever powerbrokers.
I actually find it rather disturbing.

The market makers look like they don't want to take stock and they also offer in size (also suggesting) that they have held stock on the way down). Shares remain well offered on auto.
It sems to me that there's been someone or some who have been supporting the SP when it reached the low of the range and it looked a little (maybe) the same players were lidding it near the top at 23.5p
Then the the genius IP idea came along and put the support operation back in play (so far).
Need a few more days of no news (and no more silly ideas of IP/patent waiving) before anyone can be sure.
Scancell is certainly affected by the IP news because the SP was seriously raised by the Covidity and subsequent announcements so any further significant news on the IP waiver will surely affect us. It seems to me it is simply a question of whether the suppport/cap players are still there.
We shall see.

The proposal although coming from Politicians and WHO are meant to unblock the logjam in vaccinating those in the World who for whatever reason are not being jabbed. Rather than political I would suggest it is a misguided "decision" and if lined up against the concept of practical help achieved with hard cash (Vaccines in transports being landed and distributed to vaccinators on the ground) bears little comparison.

I'm not sure it represents a seizure of assets by governments. It is an attempt to widen the distribution of "Knowhow" but in what seems to be a misguided view of the problem. It is not all governments who universally agree so I think the "seizure" is hardly a precedent as yet. In any case the governemnt in the UK undoubtedly already "Owns" a stake in some IP so until any of the contracts signed against the Grants received it is difficult to know what amount of Seizure is being suggested by other regimes.

I see what you mean about the "News" but it is also creating uncertainty which as we all know is not a friend of stability.
It does seem unlikely that what looks like a harebrained idea will ever be taken up, but all the time it's given Oxygen by the likes of the President of the USA and the powers that be in WHO it is difficult to ignore.
Maybe the hoped for RNS will be the answer to today's malaise, but I don't want Covidity or the sucessor being handed on a plate to our friends whose own Vaccine only demonstrates 50% efficacy.
It is really surreal, but sadly seemingly being discussed with straight faces...
Did not realise D Abbott was supporting it, but that is about the only thing that does make sense (if you see what I mean).

Why would the net be spread wider than IP relating to Covid? That is the point of the (IMO misguided) attempts to loosen the supply noose around the need for global vaccination.
I would have thought that financing programmes for manufacture and distribution would have been the most practical way of achieving the need for jabs in arms everywhere.

I think your comments are valid and I completely agree with your comments about 20p.

Always worth trying to work out WHO (and at what level) were the buyers and sellers. Maybe it is not always that the transfers are simply binary buys and sells.
There's always inventory to consider too.

Seeing your 11.58; not too certain how much people realise that the Covid Vaccine situation Globally could so easily play into the hands of states such as China and Russia in many ways.
Covid is all encompassing at the moment and needs considerable Governmental involvement both at home and abroad.
