Firstly thanks to JohnnyB1 for getting the situation (ref Thread "CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE: Another Director bought Lindy’s shares") clarified.
To C7. (I've only just had the chance to take time out to reply to your statement quoted below).
On Tuesday you posted,

So C7, as to your bit about "Retrospect" , how do you explain my comment on this subject on 18th May after my giving a series of reasons why the sale was to another director seemed highly unlikely,

As a final thought on the 2.38M PI sale, taking your figures it might well be that the transfer of shares had not taken place by December 21st Or maybe it still hasn't (or even - perish the thought- that the holdings update was botched).
Even so as you say the latest (audited) numbers when we see them should solve the problem!

Seems that that was BEFORE the facts were discovered/extracted from Scancell rather than posted in retrospect.
Hope you can see that you have made an erroneous statement, (not for the first time),and that you don't mind me defending myself.

Why bother speculating? It's not an action that happe ns here to any great extent... (BOD members buying the company shares)!

Bojo thanks for your comments. I'm not certain that I fully understand your point but I have always tried to be objective,. That's generally why I have had quite a lot of criticism directed at me over the last few years.
I believe that a less than excited view of Scancell's immediate share price prospects are not welcomed here.
But I live in hope for the Data to flow in due course and that that Data will be positive.
we simply have to wait for that information flow!

So, many seem to be shifting to the idea that we can only wait in hope, rather than attempting to "massage" progress with "expert" scientific opinion on where we go next?
The majority of "Experts" here may tell us what should happen next, but since the heady days of 60p they've all singularly managed to get the SP direction wrong.
So what if the science is as good as those self taught "experts" here tell us, why has the SP not only been seriously diluted but rests at a quarter of that in 2012 and much more importantly why haven't Scancell significantly monetised any of their IP in the last ten years?
Bit of a disconnect it seems.
The only conclusion I can reach is that the Science "Experts" (with one or two notable exceptions)are singularly unaware of the problems getting IP such as Scancell has to a commercially successful conclusion.
That seems to be a significant gap in many of those posters' knowledge when posting apparently authoritatively on a BB dedicated to share investment.
Again I would say that there are a (very) few "Expert" posters who do understand the Commercialisation journey. Significantly they are the ones who are always less excitable in the way they attempt to explain why we are where we are at any given time.
I certainly do not include myself in any way as an expert poster, but I am pleased to say I do recognise those who are.

The points actually aren't irrelevant.
if Scancell were to release the information in a timely manner the Hype brigade would be starved of oxygen.
The amount of nonsense that has been "Interpreted " from "unearthed" detail has cost quite a few people a great deal of money over the years.
Had Scancell maintained a half decent and timely PR organisation shareholders would have been spared a great deal of grief over the years.

The problem is that the Hype so often falls wide of the actuality.
For a trader the hype has offered many opportunities to make a quick buck.... reference Hasiba.
For the less nimble the hype has offered so much that "Top Ups" have been the order of the day at levels (in extreme cases) from 10 to 60p over the years.
Trouble is that the SP is (again) below 13p (after massive dilution).
If Scancell so far has been great for the traders, but for the holders who never sold anything (like GF123 and others) Scancell has shown them a dismal return on their money to date.
So their outlook is massively different between the two extremes above.

Hasiba has been nimble footed and traded with some excellent profits.
GF123 has simply accumulated and so is completey dependent on the shares coming good (with his capital being locked in for - at least- six years and probably more).
Since most of the big price movements have occurred on hyped "two and two making five" extrapolations the traders have made the money, whereas the Investors have suffered.
I make these observations because there is a difference between the ways that Hype and actual announcements are interpreted. Some take profits as circumstances permit and then there are others who simply don't.
Those who have successfully traded over the years are in a completely different position from those who simply accumulate.
Sadly the accumulators are those who have a much higher capital Risk profile than the traders who have used the hype to their advantage over time.
The LTH bear the risk for those who have seen the danger of hype (and acted accordingly).
Interesting slant on the "jam tomorrow" view.
BTW I'm not saying Scancell is a bad investment, simply that some judicious profit taking has allowed many to substantially reduce their capital risk profile in Scancell which so far has been far from a year on year winner.
Let's hope that the Company has some real Data and announcements to make ..... Soon!

Like you I can be VERY patient waiting for sustained £££ rather than pence.
Hype is the currency of the trader (at whatever market level).
Company announced news (assuming good) is the information that drives sustained share value.
Looking for the IP to be converted into Shareholder value!

From my point of view I took Violin's comment as being connected to the un RNS'd information.
I think his point was that the SP should have improved with the discovery of this (as yet) non company released information.
Surely it would be better to wait for the company to release the information which would then be clear cut and there would be no need for conjecture as to the benefits/ shareholder value it brings with it?
I think there's been too many "clever" interpretations of background information relating to Scancell over the years.
Since we languish at 12.75 where's the value in speculation about non RNS'd info?
You yourself have raised the ante in your last post with,
"Anyway...RE no RNS, is it a case the authorities get updated first? Also as mentioned by myself and others could the lack of any RNS's so far be down to contractual reasons?"
which suggests more behind the scenes (exciting?) reasons for the non RNS.
I'm sure it wasn't intended but some might suggest that veers towards hype.

Surely the problem with having "Leaks" is that the information is arriving early and not in the manner that the company wants?
As a result the SP might well move up, but when nothing further is released there's only one way the SP is going to go and that's back down until the company releases significant information to the market.
I think that is the history of Scancell. Information or "Leaks" are put out fro non company sources and the expectation from the SP is hyped, but then nothing happens from the company and the SP falls.
I firmly believe that waiting for the company to release information is a far better way to invest than having crazy expectations generated which then are not fulfilled by the output from the company.
Let's face it, that strategy of "leaks" has been far from successful on a backward view to date has it?
Maybe a few have benefitted when trading the "Hypes" though.
Perhaps that's what has been going on over the years past..... Hadn't thought of that until now.

Quite simply an FPD RNS would be welcomed but MUCH,MUCH more useful would be some Data.
I reckon that assuming we'll hear nothing apart from FPD until the Data starts to be collected, assimilated and released. So what's more to hear before then? Only bad news (from the concept that no news is good news), so all in all I reckon a patient wait is probably the best modus operandi.

Hi Chester,
I hear what you say and I do admire the massive enthusiasm with which you support Scancell's publicity machine which strives to contain any "leak" of helpful (to shareholders) SP sensitive information.
I just wish i had a penny for every post over the last ten years which says there's good news "just around the corner".
That's really why I've resigned myself to waiting for the news supply that only comes from well run, well enrolled and successful Trials.
